  • Patent number: 12157553
Abstract: The technology described herein relates to autonomous aerial vehicle rotor configurations. In some embodiments, the aerial vehicle includes a central body that extends along a longitudinal axis from a forward end to an aft end including a port side opposite a starboard side. Multiple rotor arms each have a proximal end coupled to the central body and a rotor assembly arranged at a distal end to provide propulsion for the aerial vehicle. The rotor assemblies include a first set of rotor assemblies and a second set of rotor assemblies. The first set of rotor assemblies are arranged in a non-inverted configuration on a top side of the aerial vehicle such that each rotor assembly includes an upward-facing rotor. The second set of rotor assemblies are arranged in an inverted configuration on a bottom side of the aerial vehicle such that each rotor assembly includes a downward-facing rotor.

  • Patent number: 12145714
Abstract: An introduced autonomous aerial vehicle can include multiple cameras for capturing images of a surrounding physical environment that are utilized for motion planning by an autonomous navigation system. In some embodiments, the cameras can be integrated into one or more rotor assemblies that house powered rotors to free up space within the body of the aerial vehicle. In an example embodiment, an aerial vehicle includes multiple upward-facing cameras and multiple downward-facing cameras with overlapping fields of view to enable stereoscopic computer vision in a plurality of directions around the aerial vehicle. Similar camera arrangements can also be implemented in fixed-wing aerial vehicles.

  • Patent number: 12102068
Abstract: An aquarium system includes a tank, a motion sensor, and a light source. The motion sensor is adapted to sense motion within a predetermined distance from the tank. The light source has a controllable intensity projecting light into the tank. The intensity varies responsive to motion sensed by the motion sensor. When the motion sensor senses movement, the light is on at 100% intensity. After some period of no-motion, such as about 60 seconds, the lighting slowly dims to around 20% of full brightness. When it senses movement again, the lighting slowly ramps up to 100% intensity.

  • Publication number: 20230112094
Abstract: Methods for producing single crystal silicon ingots are disclosed. The methods may involve modeling formation of thermal donors and target resistivity during downstream annealing processes such as during subsequent device manufacturing such as manufacturing of interposer devices. The model may output a pre-anneal wafer resistivity target range. The single crystal silicon ingot production process may be modeled to determine a counter-doping schedule to achieve the pre-anneal wafer resistivity target range across a longer length of the main body of the ingot.

  • Patent number: 11525340
Abstract: A technique facilitates formation of a gravel pack along relatively lengthy wellbores. According to an embodiment, a completion system comprises a plurality of screen assemblies. The completion system also has an alternate path system disposed along the plurality of screen assemblies. The alternate path system includes shunt tubes, e.g. transport tubes, coupled together by jumper tubes. An anti-buckling structure is coupled to each jumper tube to prevent buckling when high operational pressures, e.g. operating pressures of 9000 psi or higher, are applied to the alternate path system.

  • Patent number: 9724093
Abstract: A surgical instrument is disclosed. The surgical instrument includes a handle assembly, a drive assembly, an endoscopic portion, a pair of jaw members, a dynamic clamping member, and a tissue stop. The drive assembly is disposed in mechanical cooperation with a movable handle of the handle assembly. The endoscopic portion defines a first longitudinal axis. The jaw members are each longitudinally curved with respect to the longitudinal axis. The dynamic clamping member is disposed in mechanical cooperation with a distal portion of the drive assembly and includes an upper beam, a lower beam, and a vertical beam having a cutting edge on a distal portion thereof. At least a portion of the dynamic clamping member is longitudinally curved with respect to the longitudinal axis. • Patent number: 9608926
Abstract: A method for managing recirculation path traffic in a network node comprises monitoring an input packet stream received at an input port of the network node and monitoring a recirculation packet stream at a recirculation path of the network node. A priority level associated with individual packets of the monitored input packet stream is detected and low priority packets are stored in a virtual queue. The method also includes determining an average packet length associated with packets of the monitored recirculation packet stream. The method further comprises queuing one or more of the low priority packets or the recirculation packets for transmission based on the average packet length and a weighted share schedule.
