Patent number: 12289304Abstract: A system for communicating email messages using tokens receives a request to send an email message to a receiver. The email message is associated with a sender's email address. The system determines whether the sender's email address is associated with a token from a plurality of tokens stored in a token-email address mapping table. The system generates a particular token for the sender's email address in response to determining that the sender's email address is not associated with a token, where the particular token uniquely identifies the sender's email address. The system sends the email message using the particular token instead of the sender's email address, such that the sender's email address remains anonymous from the perspective of the receiver.Type: GrantFiled: November 7, 2023Date of Patent: April 29, 2025Assignee: Bank of America CorporationInventors: Kelly Renee-Drop Keiter, Michael Robert Young, Tomas Mata Castrejon, III, Rick Wayne Sumrall

Patent number: 12278856Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices that support determining whether media data has been altered are described. Captured media data may be segmented into one or more subsets, and cryptographic representations (e.g., hashes) based on the subsets may be written to an immutable ledger, possibly along with metadata and other related data. A block of a blockchain may be created for each entry in the immutable ledger. A set of media data may be validated, if a corresponding immutable ledger exists, based on segmenting the set of media data into one or more subsets in accordance with the segmenting upon capture, creating candidate cryptographic representations (e.g., hashes) based on the subsets, and comparing the candidate cryptographic representations with contents of the corresponding immutable ledger.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 2024Date of Patent: April 15, 2025Assignee: SWEAR Inc.Inventors: Jason Lealand Crawforth, Michael Robert Blood

Publication number: 20250117884Abstract: Disclosed is a method (100) for correcting artifacts in Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) images. The method involves acquiring an OCT image and subsequently transforming it from a Cartesian coordinate system to a polar coordinate system via polar reconstruction, generating a reconstructed polar OCT image. This image is then segmented into RED, GREEN, BLUE color channels. Fourier transformation is applied to each channel, transitioning them into their frequency domain representations. A custom frequency mask is utilized on these images, filtering out artifact-related frequencies. Following this, an inverse Fourier transformation is executed, reverting the images back to their Cartesian format. These images are then combined to produce a reconstituted OCT image. Further, this reconstituted image is merged with the original OCT image, resulting in an OCT image that is substantially free from artifacts.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 5, 2023Publication date: April 10, 2025Inventors: Benn Jessney, Xu Chen, Michael Roberts, Martin Bennett
