  • Patent number: 11895115
Abstract: One issue with many dating applications is that the number of matches can become overwhelming, making it difficult for a user to continue to communicate meaningfully with those individuals with whom they have been matched. According to various techniques described herein, a limit can be placed on the number of active matches (or conversations) for each user, and the user's profile may be temporarily hidden from view of other individuals when this limit has been reached. Such a condition is referred to as “saturation.” Once the user unmatches one or more individuals, so that they are no longer at the maximum, their profile may again be made available and therefore visible to other individuals.

  • Patent number: 11886544
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices that support determining whether media data has been altered are described. Captured media data may be segmented into one or more subsets, and cryptographic representations (e.g., hashes) based on the subsets may be written to an immutable ledger, possibly along with metadata and other related data. A block of a blockchain may be created for each entry in the immutable ledger. A set of media data may be validated, if a corresponding immutable ledger exists, based on segmenting the set of media data into one or more subsets in accordance with the segmenting upon capture, creating candidate cryptographic representations (e.g., hashes) based on the subsets, and comparing the candidate cryptographic representations with contents of the corresponding immutable ledger.

  • Patent number: 11882112
Abstract: A system for communicating email messages using tokens receives a request to send an email message to a receiver. The email message is associated with a sender's email address. The system determines whether the sender's email address is associated with a token from a plurality of tokens stored in a token-email address mapping table. The system generates a particular token for the sender's email address in response to determining that the sender's email address is not associated with a token, where the particular token uniquely identifies the sender's email address. The system sends the email message using the particular token instead of the sender's email address, such that the sender's email address remains anonymous from the perspective of the receiver.

  • Publication number: 20240022415
Abstract: The invention receives an indication that a resource has been restored using a first resource portion and retrieves from a metadata layer of a first NFT associated with the resource portion, a value of the first resource portion; retrieves a second NFT associated with the resource; and links the first NFT associated with the first resource portion with the second NFT associated with the resource by recording such link at least in a metadata layer associated with the second NFT on a distributed ledger. The system retrieves from a metadata layer of the second NFT, a value of the resource and determines, using an NFT valuation engine, a new value of the resource, wherein the new value for the resource is based on at least a value of the first resource portion. The system records the new value in a metadata layer associated with the second NFT.

  • Publication number: 20240007482
Abstract: A system is provided for remediating computing system breaches by reversibly distributing data to a plurality of edge points in a distributed network. In particular, the system may intelligently track network data to predict breach vector pathways and may track various types of network traffic data for computing systems within the network. Based on the network traffic data, the system may generate a network topology, mapping the various types of network connections across the computing systems in the network environment as well as the datasets that were transferred across such connections. In the event of a system breach, the system may divide each dataset into a plurality of partial data packets. The system may transmit each partial data packet to a different user device or computing device in the network. After the breach is remediated, the system may recall the individual data packets and reassemble the datasets for future use.
