  • Patent number: 10664045
Abstract: A system configured to generate and/or modify three-dimensional scenes comprising animated character(s) based on individual asynchronous motion capture recordings. The system may comprise sensor(s), display(s), and/or processor(s). The system may receive selection of a first character to virtually embody within the virtual space, receive a first request to capture the motion and/or the sound for the first character, and/or record first motion capture information characterizing the motion and/or the sound made by the first user as the first user virtually embodies the first character. The system may receive selection of a second character to virtually embody, receive a second request to capture the motion and/or the sound for the second character, and/or record second motion capture information. The system may generate a compiled virtual reality scene wherein the first character and the second character appear animated within the compiled virtual reality scene contemporaneously.

  • Patent number: 10659748
Abstract: This disclosure describes a system configured to present primary and secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content to a user. Primary virtual reality content may be displayed to a user, and, responsive to the user turning his view away from the primary virtual reality content, a sensory cue is provided to the user that indicates to the user that his view is no longer directed toward the primary virtual reality content, and secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content may be displayed to the user. Primary virtual reality content may resume when the user returns his view to the primary virtual reality content. Primary virtual reality content may be adjusted based on a user's interaction with the secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content. Secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content may be adjusted based on a user's progression through the primary virtual reality content, or interaction with the primary virtual reality content.

  • Publication number: 20200071071
Abstract: A double door temporary bulkhead locking member comprising a single or joined rigid material with the angle apex pointing inward. The temporary bulkhead is wedged across the width of the inside opening of a container. When the flowable product is installed into the container the pressure on the bulkhead is transferred to the outer edges sealing the product into the container. The temporary bulkhead material has a series of creases, notches, slots and shapes that are folded and locked into the proprietary shape. A single door bulkhead locking member comprising a single or joined rigid material as a straight plain panel to fit into the single doorway of a shipping container. The temporary bulkhead is wedged across the width of the inside opening of a container when one door is closed and the other open. When the flowable product is installed into the container the pressure on the bulkhead is transferred to the outer edges sealing the product into the container.

  • Publication number: 20200066071
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for identifying a user based on the classification of user movement data. An identity verification system receives a sequence of motion data from a mobile device operated by a target user. From the sequences of motion data, the identity verification system identifies a plurality of identity blocks representing different movements performed by the target user and encodes a set of signature sequences from each identity block into a feature vector. Each feature vector is input to a confidence model to output an identity confidence value for an identity block. An identity confidence value describes a confidence that the movement in the identity block was performed by the target user. The identity confidence value is compared to an operational security threshold and if identity confidence value is above the threshold, the target user is granted access to an operational context.

  • Publication number: 20200050262
Abstract: A system and/or method that uses a body posture of a user to determine and modulate a content mode of a virtual reality system. The content mode may define the manner in which virtual reality content is presented to the user and/or the manner in which the user interacts with the virtual reality content. The user's body posture and/or a change in body posture may cause the content mode and/or the virtual reality content to change accordingly. In some implementations, primary content may be presented to the user according to a first content mode in response to the user sitting. Secondary virtual reality content may be presented to the user according to the second content mode in response to the user standing. As such, a user may initiate a change in the virtual reality content and/or the content mode by standing from a sitting posture and/or sitting from a standing posture.

  • Patent number: 10476584
Abstract: A mission planning system for scheduling the operations of one or more ground stations in order to optimize overall system communications with a plurality of satellites. The mission planning system comprises a digital processor in communication with each ground station, with the digital processor acting to assess the benefits and penalties acting in the system as a whole over a given time horizon. A system-wide cost function evaluated by the processor generally compares resultant SNR and slewing penalties for achievable communications, and provides a control vector uj(t) for each ground station determined through an optimization process, in order that various physical constraints and weighting factors pertinent to an individual ground station may be incorporated and accommodated as the digital processor optimizes overall system communications.
