  • Publication number: 20240151070
Abstract: A tool for installing a door striker pin. The tool includes a latch portion, a pin positioning portion, and a cover. The latch portion includes a striker pin configured to engage with a latch of a door and an abutment surface configured to engage with a frame member of a cab. The pin positioning portion is coupled to the latch portion. The pin positioning portion defines a striker pin slot extending substantially parallel with the striker pin. The striker pin slot is positioned to align with a striker pin interface for the door. The cover is slidably coupled to the pin positioning portion such that the cover is slidably translatable between a first position where the cover extends across the striker pin slot and a second position where the cover does not extend across the striker pin slot.

  • Patent number: 11927034
Abstract: A tool for installing a door striker pin includes: a latch engagement section having a first surface, a striker pin extending from the first surface, and an abutment surface that extends generally orthogonal to the first surface; and a pin positioning section coupled to the latch engagement section and including a positioning surface with a striker pin slot formed therethrough that extends in parallel with the striker pin. The striker pin slot is positioned in the positioning surface such that the striker pin slot is aligned with a striker pin installation location when the striker pin of the latch engagement section is engaged with a latch of a door and the abutment surface rests against a frame to which the door is pivotably coupled.

  • Patent number: 5203052
Abstract: A noise supression box is secured over the air inlet opening in the housing of a fiber opening machine which contains a plurality of rotatable opener rolls that open and feed fibers to an outlet formed in the housing adjacent its air inlet opening. The box surrounds in spaced relation thereto an air inlet duct which is secured at one end over the air inlet opening and communicates at its opposite end with the exterior of the box and housing. The walls of the air inlet duct contain a plurality of spaced perforations, and the space in the box around the outside of the duct is filled with sound absorbing foam insulation.

  • Patent number: 4956896
Abstract: The web or mat producing unit including a fiber opening and doffing mechanism mounted on a vertically adjustable platform to direct fibers randomly downwardly through an opening in the platform and onto the horizontal upper run of an endless screen, which travels in one direction over a vacuum or suction opening positioned beneath and parallel to the upper run. Two, spaced side curtains or panels, which are suspended from the underside of the platform, guide fibers into a predetermined space located between opposite sides of the upper run of the screen, thereby to form the fibers into a shingle-free nonwoven mat which may, if desired, be fed successively onto the upper run of the screen in the next successive unit in a series thereof. The width and configuration of the mat can be changed by adjusting the panels toward and away from each other, and by placing a removable template or baffle over the suction opening.
