Publication number: 20230385386Abstract: Methods and apparatus consistent with the present disclosure may be used to create Internet apps and associated websites that bring human-levels of personal trust and intimacy/closeness into use while people are messaging and posting on a fully secured private peer-to-peer Internet communication system empowered by distributed ledger technology and applications. This disclosure reviews useful ways of bringing personal freedom and personal rights using methods that may be objective or subjective using methods that allow users to manage licensing and the fair use of their intellectual property and other information. Meaning an advanced technology that makes manifest the much-needed Enlightenment of the Internet desired by so many thoughtful and concerned people in the US and within the very vocal leadership of the EU. Communications sent between devices may be secured using encrypted such that only users of end devices or nodes may review data sent from another device.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 25, 2023Publication date: November 30, 2023Inventors: Michael Sandler, Leopold B Willner, Blake Anderson

Publication number: 20230137447Abstract: An energy management system for an energy environment, including a photovoltaic panel and a power supply configured to store energy generated by the photovoltaic panel, may include a plurality of subsystems and an energy management platform for monitoring and controlling each of the plurality of subsystems. The plurality of subsystems may include a first subsystem, and a second subsystem. The platform may include a user interface, and a controller communicatively coupled to each the plurality of subsystems. The controller may receive the data from the first subsystem and adjust, based on the received data, operation of the second subsystem.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 2, 2022Publication date: May 4, 2023Inventors: Mark E. Snyder, Paul Michael Sandler

Patent number: 10498904Abstract: Systems and methods for automated telephone host system interaction. A system can include one or more client applications executable by respective communication devices and a server in communication with the respective communication devices. The system can store caller information for a caller and receive, from the caller, requests associated with a service provider. Responsive to the requests, the system can cause initiation of a call center call to a call center associated with the service provider, automatically navigate a call handling system of the call center, monitor a held call center call, and detect when a live agent answers the call. A data center remote from the communication devices can at least partially control call handling at the communication devices.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 2018Date of Patent: December 3, 2019Assignee: REPNOW, INC.Inventors: Michael Sandler, Fredrick Korfin, Alexander Boone, Stanfell Boone

Patent number: 10242669Abstract: A method and process for using subsequent analysis of an audio recording to improve the punctuation of a transcribed audio file that has been processed by a transcription (speech to text) service or process. Features are disclosed for assessing audio data and transcription information to enhance the punctuation or capitalization of the words detected therein. The timing information received from a service transcribing the audio may be compared with audio analysis of the original audio data to identify words likely to be associated with punctuation or capitalization. The features generate a transcript with improved semantic and syntactic accuracy over the transcript received from the transcription service.Type: GrantFiled: August 7, 2018Date of Patent: March 26, 2019Assignee: REPNOW INC.Inventors: Michael Sandler, Fredrick Korfin, Alexander Boone, Stanfell Boone

Publication number: 20050160278Abstract: Under the present invention, a customized contract is created based on the needs of the parties and is then stored within a secure computer infrastructure. Security within the computer infrastructure is typically provided through encryption such as 128 bit encryption. Moreover, all actions taken with respect to the contract (e.g., approval, execution, etc.) occur within the infrastructure and are recorded so that a record can be provided. Any party taking action will first be authenticated before access to the infrastructure is granted. In order for the contract to be electronically executed, both the originating contract partner and the receiving contract partner must first deliberately approve the contract. Once approval has been obtained, the contract can be electronically executed by both parties. After execution is complete, a final image of the contract is generated that includes the electronic signatures and the date of execution.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 21, 2004Publication date: July 21, 2005Applicant: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Aston Farquharson, Michael Cammarota, John Harrison, Thomas Kwok, Linh Lam, Thao Nguyen, Michael Penn, Kakan Roy, Michael Sandler, Gary Wexler

Patent number: 6608737Abstract: A giant magneto-resistive head is provided which includes a novel high data-rate stitched pole inductive magnetic write head. The write head incorporates a non-magnetic spacer layer and a magnetic pole yoke that is recessed from the magnetic pole tip. The spacer layer shortens the throat height of the write head, reduces its saturation write current, and improves its overwrite and side erasure performance.Type: GrantFiled: October 8, 2002Date of Patent: August 19, 2003Assignee: Headway Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Cherng-Chyi Han, Mao-Min Chen, Po-Kang Wang, Moris Musa Dovek, Gene Michael Sandler, Jen-Wei C. Koo

Patent number: 6469874Abstract: A high data-rate stitched pole inductive magnetic write head incorporating a non-magnetic spacer layer and a magnetic pole yoke that is recessed from the magnetic pole tip. Said spacer layer is deposited as part of a self-aligned, patterned photoresist process, wherein the spacer layer is deposited first and the P2 portion of the upper pole assembly is then plated over it to form the pole tip configuration. Increasing the thickness of the spacer layer, while keeping it within a specified tolerance range, allows the upper stitched P3 portion of the pole piece to be recessed relative to the tip of P2. The spacer layer shortens throat height, reduces saturation write current, and improves overwrite and side erasure performance.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2000Date of Patent: October 22, 2002Assignee: Headway Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Cherng-Chyi Han, Mao-Min Chen, Po-Kang Wang, Moris Musa Dovek, Gene Michael Sandler, Jeu-Wei C. Patent number: 6362096Abstract: A method and apparatus for selectively depositing hemispherical grained silicon on the surface of a wafer in a process chamber. The chamber is evacuated so that a partial pressure of water vapor in the chamber is less than 10−7 torr, preferably using a turbomolecular pump and a water vapor pump in cooperation. A process gas mixture including silicon is introduced into the chamber. The surface of the wafer is seeded with silicon nuclei, and the wafer is annealed to convert the silicon to HSG.Type: GrantFiled: July 6, 2000Date of Patent: March 26, 2002Assignee: Streag CVD Systems LTDInventors: Arie Harnik, Michael Sandler, Itai Bransky

Patent number: 4781120Abstract: A toy monorail set is provided including a building for containing the parts to the set and selectively being a component part of the set. The monorail vehicle, building and monorail tracks are all made of sanded hardwood or other suitable smooth and hard material. The vehicle itself includes a cutout and a pair of extension members extending outward from the bottom of the cutout. The cutout has concave sides and the extension members have a flat surface and slanted sides from the back of the cutout to the flat surface so as to allow the vehicle to traverse a curved monorail track course. A smoothing additive, such as wax or paraffin is applied over the flat surface of the extension member and the top, or riding, surface of the monorail track to allow the vehicle to slide over the monorail track. The monorail tracks have semicircular ends with a circular recessed surface on opposite sides at each end.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 1987Date of Patent: November 1, 1988Inventors: David A.
