  • Patent number: 5403973
Abstract: A protective heat sinking device for an electronic circuit card having upper and lower layers of an air-impermeable polymer material forming an air-impermeable bag. A metallic foil having high thermal conductivity is inserted between the upper layer of air-impermeable polymer material and the top surface of the electronic circuit card. The air-impermeable bag has an open side into which the circuit card is inserted. The bag is evacuated to produce a conformal vacuum seal in which the upper and lower layers of air-impermeable polymer material and the metallic foil are drawn down onto the surface of the circuit card and form a conformal protective cover about its contours. A layer of electrically insulating material may be added between the metallic foil and an upper face of the circuit card to electronically insulate the metallic foil from the circuit components mounted on the upper face of the circuit card contained within the protective heat sinking device.

  • Patent number: 4741372
Abstract: A pocket organizer comprising a cover sheet, at least one first open topped envelope having a medial seam defining two separate pocket compartments, and at least one second envelope dimensioned to be received in one of the pocket compartments of said first envelope. Preferably, a plurality of first envelopes are releasably secured together by a resilient clip and one of the first envelopes is secured along the lateral edge to one end of the cover sheet. Preferably, the cover sheet and each of the first and second envelopes is formed of a clear plastic material so that the contents of each compartment and envelope can be readily identified. In addition, each envelope can be provided with a flexible tag secured to extend outwardly from the edge of each envelope and including alphabetic indicia to represent the type of contents desired in each compartment.

  • Patent number: 4702709
Abstract: An electrical plug retainer for a cover plate includes a bracket pivotally mounted with respect to the cover plate mounted over an electrical socket housing. The retaining bracket includes a retaining bar, a pair of parallel legs extending from the ends of the retaining bar, and inwardly extending projections on the free ends of the legs adapted to engage a recess formed in the peripheral edge of the cover plate. Preferably, the retaining bracket conforms with the peripheral shape of the cover plate so that it can be pivoted to lie flush against the wall adjacent the peripheral edge of the cover plate. The retaining bracket can also be pivoted outwardly from the wall for engagement with the electrical cord attached to a plug inserted within the wall socket. In one form of the present invention, the retaining bar includes a cord engagement member. Another embodiment includes a safety device which prevents access to the outlet in a closed position.
