  • Patent number: 9424211
Abstract: Embodiments of apparatuses, methods, and systems for providing multiple virtual device controllers by redirecting an interrupt from a physical device controller are disclosed. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a processor, a physical device controller, and virtualization logic. The virtualization logic is to receive a first interrupt from the physical device controller, and in response, send a second interrupt to the processor from one of a plurality of virtual device controllers.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 31, 2008
Date of Patent: August 23, 2016
    Assignee: Intel Corporation
Inventors: Zohar Bogin, Suryaprasad Kareenahaili, Rajeev K. Nalawadi, Michael Tabet, Darren Abramson

  • Patent number: 4509751
Abstract: A golfer's implement is a combination of a wind indicator and a golf ball retriever with a telescoping handle for compactness and ease of carrying.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 4497417
Abstract: A cooking utensil has a handle split into two sections which are permanently attached, but rotatable with regard to the periphery of the utensil so that the two sections of the split handle may be grasped by the user to lift the cooking utensil with both hands. Stops are provided to limit the maximum movement of the split handles and magnets may be utilized to hold the split handles together thus forming a single handle.

  • Patent number: 4349857
Abstract: A light responsive control device comprising a light sensitive element, having a resistance which corresponds to the amount of light incident thereon, and an electromagnet having its coil connected in series with the light sensitive element. An armature is operated by the electromagnet so that it engages a contact member positioned below the armature when the electromagnet is deenergized and is separated therefrom when the electromagnet is energized. A non-magnetic element is secured to a surface of the armature to assure prompt release of the armature when the electromagnet is deenergized and a non-magnetic guide pin attached to the non-magnetic element extends into an aperture in the electromagnet to guide the movement of the armature. When the ambient light impinging on the light sensitive element is low, its resistance is high and a load connected between the armature and contact member is energized.

  • Patent number: 4260150
Abstract: A weight member to be mounted on a ball bat to be used in making practice swings prior to becoming a batter in a ball game, has two substantially symmetrical relatively dense members each having a hole therein aligned with the hole in the other for passage of a baseball bat therethrough. The members are fastened together in fixed spaced positions with an intermediate resilient member fixed in spaced relation with each of them and having a hole therethrough aligned with the holes in the dense members for passage of the bat therethrough and for frictionally engaging the bat to removably secure the weight member to the bat.

  • Patent number: 4182073
Abstract: A toy rotary aircraft of the "Frisbee" type which is adapted to be manually thrown through the air while spinning about its vertical axis has two disc-shaped members secured together one above the other. The toy has improved stability at slower speeds which adapts it for catching with greater safety and less chance of it being dropped.

  • Patent number: 3938127
Abstract: A device adapted to be associated with a fire alarm box or the like to assist in the identification of a person who actuates the mechanism of an alarm box has an evacuated container disposed to entrap air from around the person when the vacuum is broken and a means responsive to the actuation of the mechanism for opening the container to the atmosphere.
