  • Patent number: 9958067
Abstract: A syringe for dispensing liquid materials to a substrate. In one embodiment, the syringe includes a barrel having a first end, a second end, and an interior reservoir. A piston is slidably disposed within the reservoir and is movable to increase or decrease a volume of the interior reservoir near the first end of the barrel. A first end of the piston has a hemispherically-shaped surface profile, with an elongated apex extending therefrom, to dispense liquid from the first end of the barrel when the piston is moved in a direction toward the first end.

  • Patent number: 9757763
Abstract: A side by side cartridge assembly for dispensing first and second fluid materials includes a first cartridge container and a second cartridge container. The cartridge containers include respective bodies and nozzle members coupled with the bodies. The cartridge containers are positionable with respect to one another such that the two nozzle members cooperate to form a cartridge outlet for dispensing first and second fluid materials from the respective bodies. The cartridge outlet includes dispensing openings communicating with respective nozzle channels, and a sealing surface configured for sealing engagement with a mixing element when a mixing element is attached to the cartridge outlet.

  • Patent number: 8365952
Abstract: A fluid dispensing system having a fluid dispenser supporting a barrel containing liquid to be dispensed. The barrel has a slidable piston therein with the liquid on a forward piston side and a chamber on a rear piston side. Positive and negative pressure fluid circuits have components operable to apply respective positive and negative fluid pressures to the rear side of the piston. A pressure transducer is operable to sense a fluid pressure in the chamber; and a dispenser control is operative to store a pressure-time relationship during an initial dispensing cycle and thereafter, operate a component in the positive pressure fluid circuit to maintain the pressure-time relationship during a subsequent dispensing cycle.

  • Patent number: 7480964
Abstract: A hand-held instrument has a business end and a handle attached to the business end. The handle has a gripping portion and a longitudinal axis. A knob is provided on the gripping portion of the handle to facilitate the wielding of the hand-held instrument. The knob is disposed such that it projects away from the handle in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the handle. In a preferred, but not required embodiment, the knob is removably attached to the handle by a quick release attachment device. In a typical, but not required, such embodiment, the quick release attachment device includes a male connection pin disposed within the knob and a female receptor disposed within the hand tool.
