  • Patent number: 11227246
Abstract: Methods and apparatus consistent with the invention provide the ability to combine data from multiple different sources of risk data, to create a weighted risk model using Bayesian networks and Monte-Carlo simulation to advance a quantified risk outlook. Based on the client risk configuration file, a risk user interface (UI) template is selected and the modelled risk is generated into a graphical user interface (GUI) using the selected risk template to display the GUI at multiple summary levels starting at a high-level overview which will include cyber, economic, legal, brand, operational and geographic risks. The GUI of modelled risk is displayed on the client device using the selected UI template. The system enables the user to drill down into the GUI for any of the categories available in the selected UI template to further examine risk characteristics as well as the actual sources of the risk in the modelled risk.

  • Patent number: 8560917
Abstract: A system for low density parity code decoding according to one embodiment includes a plurality of variable node (vnode) logic modules for sequentially processing groups of vnode values associated with a codeword and outputting updated vnode values; a vnode memory for storing the vnode values and updated vnode values; a plurality of check node (cnode) logic modules for sequentially processing groups of cnode values and outputting updated vnode values; a cnode memory for storing the cnode values and updated cnode values; and logic for checking the codeword using the updated vnode values and the updated cnode values. Additional systems and methods are also presented.

  • Publication number: 20070235935
Abstract: A game for developing cognitive and literary skills, particularly including flash cards that display a word of up to n alphabetic character positions in which the characters are taken from a set of characters, as the alphabet. A plurality of n random symbol generators can generate one of a subset of characters, for example one of eight characters, thereby to define a subset of the character set. Play includes selecting a flash card and then operating the random symbol generators until each displays one of the characters in the word displayed on the flash card so the random symbol generators collectively spell the word.
