  • Publication number: 20200244441
Abstract: Techniques for authentication using a blockchain hash value as a moving factor. The techniques include retrieving, by an authenticating device and from a blockchain, a current hash value of the blockchain, where the authenticating device and an authenticator server share a secret key value and each have access to the blockchain. The techniques further including generating, by the authenticating device, a secure token based on the secret key value and the current hash value. The techniques further including transmitting the secure token to the authenticator server and receiving an indication of authentication from the authenticator server.

  • Publication number: 20200217434
Abstract: In an example, an adjustable clamp system includes a base, a clamp assembly, and a first eccentric bushing. The base includes an anchor portion configured to couple the base to a support structure, a first clamp-support portion extending from the anchor portion, and a second clamp-support portion extending from the anchor portion. The clamp assembly includes a clamp defining a bore, a first flange extending from a first side of the clamp and coupled to the first clamp-support portion, and a second flange extending from a second side of the clamp and coupled to the second clamp-support portion. The first eccentric bushing couples the first flange to the first clamp-support portion. The first eccentric bushing is rotatable relative to the first flange to translate the clamp assembly in a first direction relative to the base and adjust a distance between the clamp and the anchor portion of the base.

  • Patent number: 10086136
Abstract: A slide clamp for use with an infusion pump and infusion set provides finger grips and support members for supporting the infusion tubing. The finger grips make the slide clamp easier to use while reducing the risk of error. The tubing support members reduce the likelihood of improperly loading the tubing and reduce the risk of kinking the tubing during use. An infusion set is provided wherein the slide clamp may be coded through the use of colors, holes, or the like so as to identify the type of infusion tubing used therewith. The infusion pump can identify the code on the slide clamp and thereby determine the type of infusion tubing, and thereby allow access only to infusion programs for drugs or infusion solutions which are compatible with the particular type of infusion tubing.

  • Patent number: 9781150
Abstract: Data is received that includes a plurality of samples that each characterize interception of data traffic to a computing device over a network. Thereafter, the plurality of samples characterizing the interception of data traffic are grouped into a plurality of clusters. At least a portion of the samples are labeled to characterize a likelihood of each such sample as relating to an unauthorized interception of data traffic. Each cluster is assigned with a label corresponding to a majority of samples within such cluster. At least one machine learning model is trained using the assigned labeled clusters such that, once trained, the at least one machine learning model determines a likelihood of future samples as relating to an unauthorized interception of data traffic to a corresponding computing device.

  • Patent number: 9762611
Abstract: A first node of a networked computing environment initiates each of a plurality of different types of man-in-the middle (MITM) detection tests to determine whether communications between first and second nodes of a computing network are likely to have been subject to an interception or an attempted interception by a third node. Thereafter, it is determined, by the first node, that at least one of the tests indicate that the communications are likely to have been intercepted by a third node. Data is then provided, by the first node, data that characterizes the determination. In some cases, one or more of the MITM detection tests utilizes a machine learning model. Related apparatus, systems, techniques and articles are also described.
