  • Patent number: 12291480
Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of a method of forming a glass article having a glass cover sheet and a frame. The glass cover sheet includes a first major surface and a second major surface in which the second major surface is opposite the first major surface. The frame has a support surface. In the method, a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is applied to a first region of the glass cover sheet or of the frame. A liquid adhesive is applied to a second region of the glass cover sheet or of the frame. Pressure is applied to the glass cover sheet and the frame to cause the pressure-sensitive adhesive to adhere the glass cover sheet to the frame at a first bond strength. The liquid adhesive is cured to adhere the glass cover sheet to the frame at a second bond strength that is greater than the first bond strength.

  • Publication number: 20250138727
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are disclosed for selection of characters from an electronic user interface. In one embodiment, a letter selection interface displays letters in a row, some of which are recordable by an input interpreter and others that are unrecordable. In one embodiment, unrecordable letters visually separate letters that are both (1) recordable, and (2) assigned to different but adjacent selection buttons. In response to received touch-screen activations, an interpreter records recordable letter selections and a display displays both recordable and unrecordable letter selections. The interpreter composes a sequence of the recorded letters. An algorithm identifies alternatives to the recorded sequence by editing one or more letters of the sequence, such that each edit changes a selected letter to an adjacent unrecordable letter. The algorithm outputs words that match the originally composed sequence or one of the identified alternatives.

  • Publication number: 20250119423
Abstract: A method includes receiving a hash of a static password and a hash of a lot-one authentication string from a user device of a user. After an initial validation, an authentication matrix is generated. A block selection process is performed to select spurious and authentication blocks from the authentication matrix. The authentication blocks are selected based on a lot-two authentication string associated with the lot-one authentication string. In response to determining that the spurious and authentication blocks are selected according to a block selection sequence stored in a user profile of the user, a dynamic password is generated by combining the static password, the lot-one authentication string, and the authentication blocks. A hash of the dynamic password is generated. In response to determining that the hash of the dynamic password matches a hash of a dynamic password that is stored in the user profile, the user is authenticated.

  • Publication number: 20250117463
Abstract: A method includes receiving hashes of a static password and a lot-one authentication string from a user device of a user. After an initial validation, a first authentication matrix (AM) is generated. A block selection process is performed to select spurious and authentication blocks. While performing the block selection process, the first AM is replaced by a second AM, such that a first authentication block is selected from the first AM based on a first lot-two authentication string and a second authentication block is selected from the second AM based on a second lot-two authentication string. A dynamic password is generated by combining the static password, the lot-one authentication string, and the authentication blocks. A hash of the dynamic password is generated. In response to determining that the hash of the dynamic password matches a hash of a dynamic password stored in a user profile, the user is authenticated.

  • Publication number: 20250109685
Abstract: A method for adaptively monitoring a subsurface fluid storage facility. The method may include parameterizing a gas storage model using a computation engine and executing the gas storage model in one or more simulators following which analysis operations may be executed on the modeling results to generate one or more reports and/or automatically or semi-automatically configure equipment associated with gas storage operations at a given resource site. The results from these tests may be fed into one or more analysis engines that condenses the vast simulation results into actionable insights and/or configuration settings, and/or safety data that may be used to optimize the configuration and/or operation of gas storage equipment at a given resource site. The method may pinpoint precise monitoring techniques to deploy at each stage comprised in the gas storage campaign thereby mitigating against gas storage project risks and operational costs.

  • Patent number: 12266329
Abstract: A Form Atom defined by self-contained constructional properties representing a historical corpus of music and contained within metadata of the Form Atom is disclosed. The Form Atom has a generative set of heuristics to support generation of a set of chords in a chord scheme or many different sets of chords. The generated chords are spaced out within a defined window of musical time by chord spacer heuristics. The Form Atom has a tag describing its compositional heuristics. A chord list of the Form Atom is provided in local tonic and defines branching structures that may be used for the generation of different chords from the local tonic. A progression descriptor is combined with a form function such that the Form Atom expresses musically a question, an answer and a statement. A meta-map of a chord scheme for a musical section is created from the metadata.

  • Publication number: 20250095406
Abstract: This document describes systems and techniques that enable continuous personalization of face authentication. In aspects, an authentication system associated with a network includes an authentication manager. The authentication manager receives an embedding representing image data associated with a user's face. The authentication manager generates a confidence score based on the embedding. Further, the authentication manager updates previously enrolled embeddings with the embedding based on the confidence score, the embedding meeting a clustering confidence threshold. Through such a technique, the authentication manager can alter the previously enrolled embeddings by which a future embedding is used to authenticate the user's face. By so doing, the techniques may provide more-accurate and successful user authentication over time.

  • Patent number: 12256007
Abstract: A decentralized identity access management (IAM) architecture that executes IAM service code on the distributed nodes (i.e., replicas) of a Byzantine fault tolerant (BFT) state machine replication (SMR) system is provided. For example, the IAM service code may be implemented as a blockchain smart contract or as a native execution engine that runs on each replica. With this decentralized architecture, up to f replicas (where f is a threshold number defined by the system's BFT consensus protocol) can be faulty/corrupted without affecting the security of the system.

  • Patent number: 12255044
Abstract: Linear fiducials with known angles relative to each other are formed such that their structures appear in a cross-sectional face of the sample as a distinct structure. Therefore, when imaging the cross-section face during the cross-sectioning operation, the distance between the identified structures allows unique identification of the position of the cross-section plane along the Z axis. Then a direct measurement of the actual position of each slice can be calculated, allowing for dynamic repositioning to account for drift in the plane of the sample and also dynamic adjustment of the forward advancement rate of the FIB to account for variations in the sample, microscope, microscope environment, etc. that contributes to drift. An additional result of this approach is the ability to dynamically calculate the actual thickness of each acquired slice as it is acquired.

  • Publication number: 20250085035
Abstract: Generally, management of refrigerant in an evaporator of an HVAC chiller is described. Methods, systems, and apparatuses to manage refrigerant in an evaporator can include one or combination of the following approaches: (1) by use of a refrigerant displacement array to physically prevent refrigerant from residing where the array is positioned; (2) by control of the interstitial velocity of refrigerant flow within the volume of the shell of an evaporator; (3) by a phase biased distribution of the refrigerant mixture, so that a gaseous portion is uniformly distributed into the evaporator shell, while liquid refrigerant and oil is distributed into the evaporator shell at a designated area; and (4) by preventing or reducing the occurrence of foaming inside the evaporator through anti-foaming surfaces, such as by the use of refrigerant phobic and lubricant phobic material(s). Refrigerant management can in turn improve the thermal performance and overall efficiency of the evaporator.
