Patent number: 10442618Abstract: A waste receptacle may include a frame, vertical arm supports, panel inserts, and fasteners. The frame may include vertical arms spaced apart from one another and window openings, each window opening defined between an adjacent pair of the vertical arms. The vertical arm supports may be spaced apart from one another, each vertical arm support fixedly secured to one of the vertical arms and defining a pair of channels between the vertical arm support and the one of the vertical arms. The panel inserts may be removably secured with respect to the frame, each panel insert removably received within two of the channels and partially exposed through one of the window openings. Each fastener may be configured to move between an engaged position preventing removal of one of the panel inserts from the respective channels and a disengaged position allowing removal of the one of the panel inserts from the respective channels.Type: GrantFiled: April 22, 2017Date of Patent: October 15, 2019Assignee: Rubbermaid Commercial Products LLCInventors: Bartholomew Nathaniel Briggs, Allison Michelle Hammer, Michael A. Patent number: 9321564Abstract: A storage container has a base having an opening and a lid for covering the opening. A lock ring is mounted on one of the base and the lid for motion between a first position and a second position. At least one lock member is formed on the lock ring. At least one stationary lock member is formed on the other one of the base and the lid. The lock member is aligned with the stationary lock member when the lock ring is in the first position such that the lock member engages the stationary lock member. The lock member is offset with respect to the stationary lock member when the lock ring is in the second position such that the lock member does not engage the stationary lock member.Type: GrantFiled: March 2, 2012Date of Patent: April 26, 2016Assignee: RUBBERMAID INCORPORATEDInventors: Christopher Claypool, Matthew Nettenstrom, Michael A. Publication number: 20130082065Abstract: A glass container system comprises a glass container comprising a base defining a bottom of the container and a sidewall formed integrally with the base to define an interior space. A protuberance is formed integrally with the base where the protuberance extending beyond a side wall of the base. A lid is dimensioned such that the protuberance engages the lid such that the lid may be releasably secured to the base. A glass container prepared by a process comprising the steps of providing a mold defining a container having a base at a bottom of the mold cavity where the mold cavity comprises an undercut portion that defines a recess in the mold cavity; introducing molten glass to the mold; cooling the glass to cause the glass to shrink a sufficient amount that the protuberance recedes from the recess; and removing the container from the mold in a linear direction.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 4, 2011Publication date: April 4, 2013Applicant: Rubbermaid IncorporatedInventors: Vignesh Danabalan, James Dondero, William Pierson Hart, Michael A.
