Abstract: A litter box cover comprises an enclosure adapted to engage and cover a litter pan. The enclosure defines an interior volume adapted to accommodate felis catus (housecat) defecation, and has a feline transit doorway opening into the interior volume and which is adapted to accommodate felis catus ingress into and egress from the interior volume. A hood is movably coupled to the enclosure in registration with the doorway so as to be movable between a canopy position and a chute position. In the canopy position the hood extends outwardly from the enclosure to form a canopy over the doorway, and in the chute position the hood forms a guide ramp for guiding particulate material such as kitty litter through the doorway into the interior volume.

Abstract: The Aid comprises a combination of a pail and a tray. The pail is a conventional plastic-moulded pail, having a hinged handle. The tray is a one-piece plastic moulding, having a platform whereby the tray rests on the top rim of the pail, and having a skirt for holding the tray in position laterally with respect to the pail. The tray includes two feeding bowls. The pail serves as a container for supplies etc, as needed during transport of the animal.

Abstract: A paw cleaning litter mat that sits in front of a litter box which animals step on while leaving the litter box whose function is to collect the litter particles which are trapped on an animals paws. To accomplish this function the mat is comprised of a series of inclined louvers, or a plurality of protruded dots, or lots of both, and an extended flat horizontal surface along one end designed to slide underneath the litter box. The inclined slats and the protruded dots create a raised surface for animals to step on. Both the inclined slats and the protruded dots are made of a flexible rubbery material which flexes when the animal steps on them. This flexing causes the animals toes to spread apart thus releasing the litter particles stuck on their paws. These litter particles are collected in the area between the individual inclined slats and the individual protruded dots.
