Patent number: 10092740Abstract: A safety needle assembly for skin puncturing. A plurality of needles driven by a reciprocating drive shaft extend and retract through an opening in one end of the assembly. Eleven or twelve needles are configured so as to minimize potential surface tension and reduce stress applied to the skin. The opening may be rounded or scalloped to reduce friction on the skin. An elastomeric or mechanical spring is used to assist in retracting the needles. Various alignment tabs and features are used to ensure proper alignment of the drive shaft within the assembly, and alignment of the needle assembly when attached to a handpiece during use. Safety tabs on the needle assembly prevent reuse. A protective sleeve may be used to cover the exterior of the needle assembly.Type: GrantFiled: September 25, 2014Date of Patent: October 9, 2018Assignee: Medmetics, LLCInventors: Jared Spendlove, Tim Nieman, Michael Anderer, Michael Morgan, Jeremy Jones, Chad Milton

Patent number: 8086869Abstract: A system for analyzing similarities between a first and second corpus or between a set of concepts and a corpus uses natural language processing and machine intelligence methods to replace terms or phrases in the corpus with concepts, determine the frequency of each concept in the corpus, and convert the corpus into a concept frequency file to enable easy comparison of the two corpuses or easy retrieval of items from the corpus that contain concept. Difference analysis and a combination of content and spectral analysis may be employed.Type: GrantFiled: July 2, 2009Date of Patent: December 27, 2011Assignee: IPX, Inc.Inventors: G. Edward Powell, Jr., Michael Anderer, Mark T. Lane, N. Edward White

Publication number: 20090044259Abstract: A mobility device platform allowing for secure mobile computing is provided. In an illustrative implementation, an exemplary mobility device platform comprises a mobility device operable to communicate with at least one computing environment through a communications interface and wherein the mobility device is operable to process and store secure web services, a communications network operable to communicate data and computing applications using web services, and a mobility device management server operable to generate, process, store, communicate and encrypt web services to the mobility device. Further, the mobility device management server is operable to perform one or more mobility device management functions to provide encryption keys to cooperating mobility devices and to authenticate and verify cooperating mobility devices requesting web services from the mobility device management server.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 16, 2008Publication date: February 12, 2009Applicant: INAURA INCORPORATEDInventors: Peter Bookman, Rick Charles White, Michael Anderer

Patent number: 7149893Abstract: An electronic mail system and method enables the originator of a message sent by electronic mail to select a date, time, or event at which the message and all incarnations of the message to self-destruct, regardless of the number and types of computers or software systems that may have interacted with the message. The system and message also permits the originator to include processing and handling limitations. The necessary control over the message is achieved by encrypting the message and enabling viewing only through a viewer applet arranged to facilitate destruction of the message upon the occurrence of the selected expiration time, date, or event, and to implemented the handling and processing limitations. A central server can be used to exercise additional control over the message by serving as a proxy destination, and by streaming the encrypted message to the viewer applet.Type: GrantFiled: September 7, 1999Date of Patent: December 12, 2006Assignee: Poofaway.com, Inc.Inventors: Jon N. Leonard, Charles H. Seaman, Michael Anderer, Peter B. Ritz, Michael Bernstein, Robert J. Schena

Publication number: 20060253894Abstract: A mobility device platform allowing for secure mobile computing is provided. In an illustrative implementation, an exemplary mobility device platform comprises a mobility device operable to communicate with at least one host environment through one or more communications interfaces. The mobility device is further operable to process and store data. The plafrom can further comprise, a communications network operable to communicate data and the mobility originating from one or more cooperating components and a mobility device management server operable to generate, process, store, communicate and encrypt data to the mobility device. Further, the mobility device management server ca be operable to perform one or more mobility device provisioning, administration, and management functions and to authenticate and verify cooperating mobility devices according to a seleted trust model.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 5, 2006Publication date: November 9, 2006Inventors: Peter Bookman, Rick White, Michael Anderer
