  • Patent number: 10949292
Abstract: A requester issues a request specifying a target address indicating an addressed location in a memory system. A completer responds to the request. Tag error checking circuitry performs a tag error checking operation when the request issued by the requester is a tag-error-checking request specifying an address tag. The tag error checking operation comprises determining whether the address tag matches an allocation tag stored in the memory system associated with a block of one or more addresses comprising the target address specified by the tag-error-checking request. The requester and the completer communicate via a memory interface having at least one data signal path to exchange read data or write data between the requester and the completer; and at least one tag signal path, provided in parallel with the at least one data signal path, to exchange address tags or allocation tags between the requester and the completer.

  • Patent number: 10944867
Abstract: Implementations are directed to using an assistant to initiate automated telephone calls with entities. Some implementations identify an item of interest, identify a group of entities associated with the item, and initiate the calls with the entities. During a given call with a given entity, the assistant can request a status update regarding the item, and determine a temporal delay before initiating another call with the given entity to request a further status update regarding the item based on information received responsive to the request. Other implementations receive a request to perform an action on behalf of a user, identify a group of entities that can perform the action, and initiate a given call with a given entity. During the given call, the assistant can initiate an additional call with an additional entity, and generate notification(s), for the user, based on result(s) of the given call and/or the additional call.

  • Publication number: 20210065698
Abstract: Implementations set forth herein relate to initializing performance of an automated assistant routine and/or dismissing an alarm pre-emptively according to satisfaction of one or more conditions. A condition can be satisfied by a user acknowledging the alarm when the alarm is going off, or causing the alarm to be dismissed prior to a time at which the alarm was scheduled for. The user can cause the alarm to be dismissed pre-emptively by interacting with the automated assistant prior to the time the alarm was scheduled for and/or interacting with a device, which is known to the automated assistant, prior to the time that the alarm was scheduled for. In this way, actions that cause an alarm to be dismissed can be recognized and used to initialize other processes, such as an automated assistant routine, thereby reducing a number of inputs needed from a user.

The linkage mechanism has a base and a pair of seat mounting plates that are used to attach a seat to the mechanism. The linkage mechanism comprises a first and a second plurality of links that are each pivotally coupled between the base and a corresponding one of the pair of seat mounting plates. The first and second plurality of links moveably interconnect the base and the seat mounting plates to control movement of the seating unit between closed, TV, reclined and fully-reclined positions. In the fully-reclined position, the seat mounting plates are moved to a position by the first plurality of links and the second plurality of links to place the seat of the seating unit at an angle relative to horizontal of between eighteen and twenty-six degrees.

  • Publication number: 20210054572
Abstract: The invention provides fibrous structures, such as tissue products, manufactured using non-compressive dewatering and drying methods, such as through-air drying, where the structures are multi-layered and have cross-linked fibers selectively disposed in one or more outer most layers. Compared to similarly prepared fibrous structures that are substantially free from cross-linked fibers the instant fibrous structures have improved surface properties, such as good softness and smoothness, as well as improved bulk. Further, by layering the cross-linked fibers and manufacturing the fibrous structures without compressive dewatering the tensile strength of the finished structure is not degraded.

  • Publication number: 20210054532
Abstract: Disclosed are processes for manufacturing cross-linked cellulosic fibers and tissue products comprising cross-linked cellulosic fibers, manufactured by reacting an oxidized polyol, in particular, an oxidized sugar having at least two aldehyde groups with a plurality of cellulosic fibers to yield treated fibers and heating the treated fibers at a temperature greater than about 140° C. to cure the treated fibers. In particular, said sugar is sucrose and the oxidising agent comprises hydrogen peroxide. The instant cross-linked fibers are manufactured without well-known cross-linking agents such as formaldehyde or polycarboxylic acids, and have good brightness and color and resist yellowing. Furthermore, the cross-linked cellulosic fibers are generally free from off odors and the instant cross-linked cellulosic fibers have enhanced properties, such as improved wet bulk, compared to uncross-linked fibers.
