  • Publication number: 20230285131
Abstract: A handle for an oral-care implement for safe and hygienic use by multiple users includes an electrical motor and a detachable head. The handle has a display for displaying instructions to control functional operation of the handle, a microcontroller for controlling the motor and the display, and at least one switch to allow a user to control the functional operation of the handle, including causing the output element to vibrate in at least one oral-hygiene mode having an oral-hygiene frequency and causing the output element to vibrate in a disinfection mode when the handle is being disinfected before or after being used for the oral-hygiene routine. The disinfection mode has a modulated frequency, different from the oral-hygiene frequency, and alternating up and down between a low modulated frequency and a high modulated frequency, wherein the high modulated frequency is at least 50 percent greater than the low modulated frequency.

  • Patent number: 9971328
Abstract: A flow control center can include a barometric sensor, at least one ball valve assembly, and a computing device. The ball valve can be controllable among a plurality of discreet positions to selectively change a flow of fluid. The computing device can have a communication device configured to receive signals from the barometric sensor. The computing device can determine a first flow rate in response to the sensed pressure represented by the first signal. The computing device can also control a motor of the ball valve assembly to move a ball valve to a first of the plurality of discreet angular positions. The first of the plurality of discreet angular positions can correspond to the sensed pressure represented by the first signal.

  • Patent number: 9681609
Abstract: The application discloses a unique technique for watering a garden. This technique involves application of a watering system. This system provides an enclosure about the garden plot that includes a barrier permissive of light and air to the garden plot and at least partly preventing entry of land animals of interest to the garden plot. The garden plot is watered through a number of misting nozzles connected to the enclosure and held above the garden plot. Water is distributed to the misting nozzles with a conduit loop. Multiple conduit loops may be included to disburse the water.
