A weight clip has a mounting collar that is configured to slide over the end of the barbell and a hook that extends from the mounting collar forming a cradle to receive a weight therein. The hook may be configured to rotate with respect to the mounting collar to position the weight hanging from the hook and a swivel lock may enable a user to lock the hook in a rotational position with respect to the mounting collar.
