Abstract: Home care management tasks may be tracked, scheduled, verified, and accounted for using devices interacting with each other to maintain an overall “care plan” for a given care recipient (“CR”). The CR represents a patient in need of home health services (or other support services) that may be provided by a group of actors connected virtually through a computer managed network providing a care management system. The care management system includes logic and devices that interact to create an automated care plan. Data underlying the care plan is secure and protected (e.g., follows HIPAA rules). A matrix of access permissions is maintained based on actors, roles of actors, and type of data maintained. Actors may be family members, volunteers, medical professionals, or other service providers. Location data for an actor may determine when or if an alert style notification is sent to a device associated with that actor.
