    Abstract: A solar collector comprising a trough, a solar radiation transmitting cover overlying the trough with one end of the trough constituting an inlet end, with the other end of the trough constituting an outlet end, and with air flowing through the trough from the inlet to the outlet end thereof generally along the longitudinal axis of the trough, and a plurality of solar radiation absorption panels disposed within the trough for absorbing solar radiation transmitted through the cover and for heating the air flowing through the trough. The solar radiation absorption panels extend transversely across the trough and are inclined relative to the longitudinal axis of the trough.
