  • Patent number: 9022267
Abstract: A holder apparatus is provided for a portable electronic device, in particular in a motor vehicle. The portable electronic device is designed for bidirectional data transfer with the motor vehicle, wherein the holder apparatus has a base element which can be fixed in the motor vehicle and which has a plurality of holder elements, and at least one wall and/or cover element which is coupled to the holder elements such that it can be reversibly plug-connected. The portable electronic device can be secured in the holder apparatus in an interlocking and/or force-fitting manner by the base element and the at least one wall and/or cover element.

  • Patent number: 8362743
Abstract: A device is provided for mechanically and electrically connecting a portable, battery-operated apparatus in order to operate the apparatus and/or to charge its battery. The device includes a receiving area for the apparatus as well as a first coil arrangement, which is disposed on, in or under the receiving area and which is designed for interaction with a second coil arrangement of the apparatus, when the apparatus is disposed in a predefined position on the receiving area. Finally, the device exhibits a first coupling element, which, in interaction with a second coupling element of the apparatus, the apparatus can be moved into the predefined position after being placed on the receiving area. The first coupling element exhibits at least a first component, which is designed for magnetic coupling with a respective second component of the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5957914
Abstract: A laser photo optic breakdown probe and handpiece system especially suited for small-incision cataract removal including an optical fiber through which a pulsed source of laser energy is delivered to a target spaced from the distal end of the fiber. The fiber is routed through a first guide tube with the target mounted at an angle on the end thereof. Holes are provided in the guide tube for the flow of infusion fluid therethrough. A second aspiration tube surrounds and provides rigidity to the guide tube, shields the distal end of the fiber and target, and serves as a channel for aspirated fluids and dislodged cataractous material. The guide tube is affixed to a transfer housing to which infusion and aspiration connections are made. The aspiration tube forms part of a handle assembly which is detachably coupled to the transfer housing.
