  • Patent number: 8213154
Abstract: A nickel oxide that is co-doped with a first alkali metal dopant and a second metal dopant may be used, for example, to form a dielectric material in an electronic device. The dielectric material may be used, for example, in a capacitor. The second metal dopant of the nickel oxide may be, for example, tin, antimony, indium, tungsten, iridium, scandium, gallium, vanadium, chromium, gold, yttrium, lanthanum, ruthenium, rhodium, molybdenum or niobium.

  • Patent number: 5281763
Abstract: An electrical cable in-line or branch joint has hydrophobic material located around the connections of the conductors so as to act as a water block. The hydrophobic material is physically prevented from being forced away from the connections into the cables, for example by pressure of water within the cable, by a fibrous material located in and around the crutch regions where the conductors emerge from the cable joints.
