One or more support features are on one or more peripheral regions of the surface of the substrate. A first side of a die is coupled to the one or more conductive interconnect structures and is over the one or more support features. A die backside layer is on the second side of the die.

Abstract: Microelectronic die package structures formed according to some embodiments may include a substrate having one or more solder structures. A first set of solder structures is located in a peripheral region of the substrate and a second set of solder structures is located in a central region of the substrate. A height of individual ones of the second set of solder structures is greater than a height of individual ones of the first set of solder structures. A die having a first side and a second side includes one or more conductive die pads on the first side, where individual ones of the conductive die pads are on individual ones of the first set solder structures and on individual ones of the second set solder structures. A die backside layer is on the second side of the die.

Abstract: A method of sharing a wager on a live sporting event with another individual on a play by play wagering platform. Users can additionally invite other users to place the same wager or another wager on a different play. Upon accepting a wager invitation, the users additionally joining a chat conversation so as to communicate while placing wagers on the live sporting event.

Abstract: A switching regulator including a buck controller and control logic. The buck controller compares a reference output voltage with an output voltage to obtain a control voltage. The control logic outputs pulses to the switches. The pulses sequence the transitioning of the switches. The control logic inhibits one or more of the pulses from transitioning in response to a voltage difference existing between the control voltage and the reference output voltage.

Abstract: A switching regulator including buck circuitry and an output voltage loop. The buck circuitry decreases a voltage level of an input voltage in response to converting the input voltage to an output voltage. The output voltage loop performs a digital-to-analog conversion on an output voltage setpoint to convert the output voltage setpoint from a digital word to a reference output voltage. The output voltage loop compares the reference output voltage with the output voltage to obtain a control voltage.

Abstract: An integrated circuit chip includes a vlimiter controller, a capacitive buck controller, a multi-level buck controller and a switch controller. The vlimiter controller outputs vlimiter signals that cause the integrated circuit chip to perform as a voltage limiter. The capacitive buck controller outputs capacitive buck signals that cause the integrated circuit chip to perform as a capacitive buck converter. The multi-level buck controller outputs multi-level buck signals that cause the integrated circuit chip to perform as a multi-level buck converter. The switch controller selects between the vlimiter signals, the capacitive buck signals and the multi-level buck signals.

Abstract: Methods of processing substrates in a processing tool having a plurality of miniature modular charged particle devices include obtaining a first digital image of a feature of a movable object using an optical inspection system; determining a first position of the movable object based on the digital image using readings from a first plurality of position sensors having a first accuracy; based on the first position, and a predetermined dimension of the processing tool, moving the movable object such that the feature is within an exposure area of a charged particle device; obtaining a second digital image of the feature using the charged particle device; and determining a second position of the movable object based on the second digital image and readings from a second plurality of position sensors. Other methods include using a second charged particle device to perform a print plan when a first device is not operated.

Abstract: A repeatable manufacturing process uses a printer to deposits liquid for each product carried by a substrate to form respective thin films. The liquid is dried, cured or otherwise processed to form from the liquid a permanent layer of each respective product. To perform printing, each newly-introduced substrate is roughly mechanically aligned, with an optical system detecting sub-millimeter misalignment, and with software correcting for misalignment. Rendering of adjusted data is performed such that nozzles are variously assigned dependent on misalignment to deposit droplets in a regulated manner, to ensure precise deposition of liquid for each given area of the substrate. For example, applied to the manufacture of flat panel displays, software ensures that exactly the right amount of liquid is deposited for each “pixel” of the display, to minimize likelihood of visible discrepancies in the resultant display.
