    Abstract: A spinal surgery modeling system includes a spine model and a spine movement device. The spinal surgery modeling system provides a three-dimensional hands-on model that can be configured to have any desired variation of spinal alignment of the spine model by hydraulic actuation of the spine movement device to simulate the biomechanical feel and behavior of a patient's spine. The spine model may include various vertebral body or disc conditions and allows a clinician to examine and/or adjust the model and observe the three-dimensional outcome of such adjustments.

    Abstract: A rod reducer including a housing, a plurality of arm members, an anvil, a shaft, a sleeve, and a plurality of locking feet. The shaft and locking feet are coupled to the anvil. The housing is slidably disposed within a cavity of the sleeve and defines an opening to receive the shaft. The locking feet are additionally coupled to the sleeve and are pivotable between an engaged configuration with the sleeve in a distal position with respect to the anvil and a released configuration with the sleeve in a proximal position. In the engaged configuration an engagement surface of the locking feet couple to an outer housing of a dual layered housing of a bone screw such that proximal translation of the shaft drives the outer housing proximally with respect to an inner housing of the bone screw into a partially locked or locked configuration.

The sleeve assembly includes a locking tab. The housing includes a groove configured to selectively receive the locking tab of the sleeve assembly. The housing includes a locking ledge portion in registration with the groove. The anvil is transitionable between a proximal position, in which, the arm members are spaced apart, and a distal position, in which, the arm members are in an approximated position. The sleeve assembly is rotatable between an engaged state in which, the locking ledge portion inhibits relative axial displacement of the sleeve assembly with the housing, and a disengaged state in which, the sleeve assembly is axially movable relative to the housing.

The slot receives a portion of the flexible member. The inserter includes a handle and a tubular member that has proximal and distal end portion. The proximal end portion is attached to the handle and the distal end portion extends from the handle. The tubular member defines a passage between the proximal and distal end portions. The distal end portion includes a couple for receiving the head of the fixation member with the portion of the flexible member received in the slot of the flexible member.
