Patent number: 12206386Abstract: A radio-frequency assembly is described which can be used in communication satellites, for example. The radio-frequency assembly contains a signal source in the form of a semiconductor amplifier output, an impedance matching filter, and a radio-frequency waveguide. The impedance matching filter is connected to the semiconductor amplifier output on the input side and to the radio-frequency waveguide on the output side. The impedance matching filter has a different impedance value on the input side from that on the output side and is matched to the semiconductor amplifier output on the input side and matched to the radio-frequency waveguide on the output side. Consequently, a separate matching circuit between semiconductor amplifier output and radio-frequency waveguide is no longer necessary.Type: GrantFiled: July 6, 2022Date of Patent: January 21, 2025Assignee: Tesat-Spacecom GmbH & Co. KGInventors: Christian Arnold, Benjamin Falk, Maria Wochner, Sebastian Bartz, Michael Glasbrenner

Patent number: 11145471Abstract: In an arrangement and a method for driving a movable contact of a vacuum interrupter in a high-voltage circuit breaker, an actuating rod forms an element of a kinematic chain of the high-voltage circuit breaker. A lever element can rotate about an axis and can be mechanically connected to a drive via a connection element. A coupling element is configured to mechanically movably couple the actuating rod and the lever element. The actuating rod and the coupling element each have a longitudinal axis. The longitudinal axes are situated substantially on a common axis at a point in time when a separating action of the vacuum interrupter occurs.Type: GrantFiled: November 15, 2018Date of Patent: October 12, 2021Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Alexander Hartung, Michael Bartz

Patent number: 10663047Abstract: A device includes a transmission assembly having a first override clutch. The first override clutch is used especially for transmitting a torque between a first coupling partner and a second coupling partner. The first override clutch engages and disengages in accordance with a change in the load flow between the coupling partners. A freewheeling member which is associated with the first override clutch neutralizes the engagement between the coupling partners. The neutralization is, in particular, temporary.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2015Date of Patent: May 26, 2020Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Michael Bartz, Oliver Duwe, Friedrich Loebner

Patent number: 9893506Abstract: A damping configuration for an oscillatably mounted, electrical energy transmission device includes a supporting frame which is connected to stationary abutments through a plurality of damping elements. A group of first and second damping elements which have damping rates dimensioned so as to differ from one another and which act in parallel, connect the supporting frame to the abutments. Favorable damping of both weaker and stronger movements, for example caused by an earthquake, is ensured due to a combination of damping elements having differently dimensioned damping rates.Type: GrantFiled: September 6, 2013Date of Patent: February 13, 2018Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Frank Backe, Michael Bartz, Ulf Heinrich, Helmut Holler, Gunther Krausse, Claude Proste, Beat Schmied, Arkadius Peter Szepanski, Joerg Teichmann, Achim Von Seck

Patent number: 9659729Abstract: An electrical switch includes a gas-insulated tube, a contact system in the tube having fixed and movable contacts, a contact operating element passed out of the tube and movable along an actuation direction for opening and closing the system, and a contact pressure spring movable along the direction, connected to the operating element and an external drive element and disposed in a stationary guide part. The guide part guides the operating element. If the drive element shifts along the direction toward the fixed contact, the spring, operating element and movable contact move toward the fixed contact, closing the system and compressing the spring providing contact pressure force. The spring is in a housing connected to the operating element and movable relative to the guide part. A guide element is attached outside the housing, bears against the guide part, guides the housing and guides the operating element along the direction.Type: GrantFiled: September 24, 2014Date of Patent: May 23, 2017Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Michael Bartz, Frank Ehrlich, Alexander Golub, Andre Matthaei, Caroline Orth, Rico Rademacher, Ingolf Reiher
