  • Publication number: 20250117878
Abstract: A playout device and method for playing out zoomed broadcast content starting from an input video stream captured by a wide angle of view camera. Based on a plurality of key points 1 to N in the input video stream a center of a zoomed virtual camera view and a corresponding zoom level is either manually selected or automatically determined. These data are used to calculate a trajectory of the virtual camera movement for every image in the input video stream. For creating a zoomed video clip, the images of the input video are cropped outside of the virtual camera view.

  • Publication number: 20250119613
Abstract: A playout device, and a method for operating same, for a broadcast production system having a storage device for video streams and a control device for receiving input from a user related to selecting a stored video stream to be played out and a replay speed and direction therefore. The control device translates the user input into control commands to set corresponding playout parameters for the playout device including playout speed and playout direction. The playout device comprises a fetcher, a processor, a fetcher cache memory, and a processor cache memory. The fetcher requests from the storage device images of the selected stored video stream and stores a number of the images in the fetcher cache memory so they are available for the processor. The processor stores at least one processed image in the processor cache memory so that it is available for output by the playout device.

  • Patent number: 11448275
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for operating a vehicle brake. The vehicle brake includes a hydraulic service brake having an actuating piston, which for generating a first braking force component is movable, under the action of a hydraulic pressure, into an actuating position in which the actuating piston presses a friction lining against a rotatingly supported brake disc, and an electric parking brake, with an actuating element, that is designed to build up a second braking force component that acts on the brake disc. The method includes ascertaining the hydraulic pressure, determining a first braking force component, establishing a second braking force component to be set by means of the parking brake, based on the first braking force component and a desired total braking force, and establishing a position of the actuating element of the parking brake to be set.

  • Publication number: 20180156177
Abstract: A monitoring method for use in a motor vehicle is proposed. The motor vehicle comprises a speed control system with stop and go function. The monitoring method comprises starling, upon standstill of the motor vehicle, monitoring of a startup procedure of the motor vehicle. The method further comprises monitoring the startup procedure, during the startup procedure, by comparing an actual movement with a maximum movement profile. The actual movement results from measured movements of the motor vehicle. The maximum movement profile represents predefined movements of the motor vehicle. The method further comprises triggering a signal when a currently measured actual movement profile exceeds the maximum movement profile. A monitoring system, and a system comprising the monitoring system and the speed control system with stop and go function are further described.
