  • Patent number: 12512886
Abstract: An apparatus for use in an O-RAN base station includes processing circuitry. To configure the O-RAN base station for signal processing in an O-RAN network, the processing circuitry is to decode an SRS and a DMRS in a UL stream received from at least one UE. Channel estimation is performed based on the SRS to obtain a channel estimate matrix of channel estimates associated with reception of the UL stream. A noise covariance is generated using the DMRS. Beamforming weights are determined using the channel estimate matrix and the noise covariance. Beamforming is performed on UL data corresponding to the UL stream to generate beamformed data streams. The beamforming is based on applying the beamforming weights to the UL data.

  • Publication number: 20250220454
Abstract: Equipment for controlling a node in a wireless communication system can include a processor. The processor can identify scenarios under which at least one wireless communication system problem can occur, and metrics that characterize the scenarios. Based on the metrics the processor can generate a set of sub-problems, where a sub-problem of the set can correspond to a respective scenario. The processor can identify a set of algorithms for responding to respective sub-problems of the set of sub-problems to generate a module. The processor can provide control logic to determine which algorithm of the module to execute during operation of the wireless communication system based on detection of problems of an identified scenario. The processor can provide identification of a selected algorithm based on the determining. Communication circuitry can provide identification of the selected algorithm for execution within the wireless communication system.

  • Publication number: 20250105935
Abstract: A radio communication device may include: a memory; and a processor configured to: determine a received radio signal including payload information from a plurality of mobile radio communication devices, wherein the payload information is mapped to a resource block via a plurality of cyclic shifts; for each mobile radio communication device of the plurality of mobile radio communication devices, determine a candidate cyclic shift applied to a respective payload information of the payload information, wherein the candidate cyclic shifts for the plurality of mobile radio communication devices are determined from a plurality of candidate cyclic shifts; and perform a noise power estimation using other candidate cyclic shifts of the plurality of candidate cyclic shifts, wherein the other candidate cyclic shifts are not determined as the candidate cyclic shifts.

  • Publication number: 20190062885
Abstract: Embodiments relate to a type of aluminum alloy with grains visible to naked eyes. The aluminum alloy may have an average grain size of at least 100 ?m. The aluminum alloy can be produced by a process such as casting, extrusion, solutionizing, aging, and etching. The solutionizing causes recrystallization of aluminum and causes grains of the aluminum to grow. Compared with the solutionizing, the aging is performed at lower temperature but enhances strength of the aluminum alloy. The etching makes grain boundaries of the aluminum alloy more prominent, rendering the grains of the aluminum alloy visible to a naked human eye.

  • Publication number: 20050047422
Abstract: According to one aspect, a method of switching a first gateway from a voice mode to a facsimile mode comprises: configuring the first gateway to the voice mode for communication with a second gateway over a packet network, receiving a plurality of data packets from the second gateway over the packet network, analyzing one or more of the plurality of data packets, such as UDP packets, and configuring the first gateway to the facsimile mode if the analyzing determines that the one or more of the plurality of data packets carry facsimile data packets. The analyzing may include calculating a length of the UDP payload in accordance with UDPTL packet structure, and deciding the UDP payload includes a UDPTL packet if the calculated length is equal to UDP payload length, as indicated in the UDP header.
