  • Patent number: 12633671
Abstract: A deployable reflector structure includes a base in a central portion of the deployable reflector structure. The deployable reflector structure further includes one or more arms configured to extend from the base. The deployable reflector structure also includes an expandable structure coupled to the one or more arms. The deployable reflector structure further includes a reflector coupled between the one or more arms and the base. A drive mechanism may be configured to extend one or more of the arms and the expandable structure with a drive cable.

  • Publication number: 20240359347
Abstract: An apparatus has a first pressure head on a first body, a second pressure head on a second body, a mechanism between the first and the second bodies, adapting the first and the second pressure heads to close together and to open, a substantially planar sacrificial anode joined to the first pressure head on a surface facing the second pressure head, a force mechanism between the first and the second bodies providing force urging the pressure heads together, and a manually operable mechanism adapted to counteract the force mechanism to separate the pressure heads.

  • Publication number: 20040014333
Abstract: A switch assembly usable in a food waste disposer is disclosed having several improvements over the prior art. The switch assembly positively retains an overload switch, making assembly of the switch into the disposer easier. The switch assembly includes terminals, which attach to the start and run windings of the disposer. The terminals are arranged in a uniform direction along a single side of the switch assembly. This arrangement allows a single, integrated connector of winding leads to be easily connected to the switch assembly, facilitating assembly and reducing the possibility of incorrectly wiring the disposer during construction.

  • Patent number: 6612943
Abstract: A swing practicing device trains a hitter, such as a baseball batter, to improve the accuracy and power of his swing. A baseball-shaped target is coupled to the terminal end of a target support, the baseball-shaped target accepting swing impacts without separating from the target support. The target support extends from a base having a rounded bottom surface, the curves of the rounded surface in rotational engagement with the ground. Swing impacts at the baseball-shaped target cause the apparatus to rotate from an upright position to a more horizontal position and then return to the upright position to accept repeated swing impacts. The device can include an inflatable air bladder within the baseball-shaped target and target support, and can include an adjustable weight for its base. The device can also include an adjusting mechanism to adjust the vertical height of the baseball-shaped target.
