  • Publication number: 20250148937
Abstract: Linerless labels with adhesive patches arranged in optimal adhesive patch patterns are provided. The adhesive patch patterns mitigate adhesive buildup on components of a printer when a roll of linerless labels is fed through a printer by minimizing the adhesive coverage area on the backside of the linerless labels without altering the adhesive bonding characteristics of the individual linerless labels dispensed from the printer. The adhesive is a microsphere adhesive having a particle size between 10-250 or 20-350 microns. In an embodiment, the microsphere adhesive includes solids of at least 25% in the microsphere adhesive.

  • Publication number: 20250075386
Abstract: Method for manufacturing a carpet or a rug, comprising the following steps: the step (S1-S2) of providing a primary backing (1), being a woven or non-woven layer comprising filaments (2) of polyethyleneterephthalate and copolymer of polyethyleneterephthalate, the coPET having a lower melting temperature than the PET and wherein said PET is available in said primary backing (1) in a higher amount than said coPET; the step of providing a glue layer (11) consisting for 50% or more out of coPET; the step of tufting yarn at least into said primary backing (1); the step of activating said glue layer (11) at least for partially fixing said yarn (12) on said primary backing (1). The invention also concerns carpets (16) and rugs that are obtained or obtainable by means of such method.

  • Publication number: 20250046218
Abstract: Labels with discontinuous hot melt adhesive patch patterns are provided. Hot melt adhesive is applied to a backside of a substrate for a given label in a discontinuous hot melt adhesive patch pattern. In an embodiment, the hot melt adhesive of a given discontinuous hot melt adhesive patch pattern is layered on the backside of a given label.

  • Patent number: 11992141
Abstract: A tufted carpet comprising a secondary backing which defines a volume being a parallelepiped having three pair of parallel faces, a first pair of parallel faces defining a upper surface of the secondary backing and a lower face of the tufted carpet, at least a second pair of parallel faces being inclined with respect to the first pair of parallel faces under an angle ?1 less than 90°, preferably in the range of 10 to 87°, the angle being the smallest angle measured between the planes defining the first pair of parallel faces and second pair of parallel faces.
