  • Patent number: 11291376
Abstract: A system and method are presented for detecting and measuring pressure within a region of a body lumen or vessel. The pressure sensing system includes a light source for transmitting light through a pathway containing polarization-maintaining fiber optic wires. A distal portion of the polarization-maintaining fiber optic wire, which is engaged to and extends along a guidewire, includes pressure sensing station(s) made up of fiber Bragg gratings (FBG). The light transmitted to and reflected from the FBGs on the two polarization modes of the polarization-maintaining fiber optic wire can be analyzed to provide one or more pressure values.

  • Publication number: 20220080192
Abstract: A method of treatment includes modifying and/or killing cells by changing the cell membrane charging time to make the cells more susceptible to the influence of electric fields. The method may further include inserting one or more electrodes into tissue, acquiring a temperature of the tissue, delivering electrical energy to the tissue by electrical pulses, determining a rate of energy delivery of the electrical energy such that the temperature rises above a first critical temperature but remains below a second critical temperature, and delivering the electrical energy until a specific dose is achieved.

  • Patent number: 11277384
Abstract: Systems and methods for implementing filters within computer networks include obtaining blocklist data that includes blocklist entries for a network. Each of the blocklist entries includes one or more network traffic attributes for identifying traffic to be blocked. In response to receiving the blocklist data, a filter based on a common network traffic attribute shared between at least two of the plurality of blocklist entries is generated. The filter is then deployed to a network device within the network such that the filter may be implemented at the network device to block corresponding traffic.

Abstract: A stormwater treatment device includes a tank defining an internal volume and having an inlet and an outlet, a rotatable screen unit mounted within the tank, the rotatable screen unit being barrel-shaped to define a through path with an inlet end and an outlet end. The rotatable screen unit includes a screen structure with a plurality of screening openings for allowing passage of at least some water from the through path outwardly through the screen structure while inhibiting passage of trash items through the screen structure such that trash items move along the through path from the inlet end to the outlet end. The rotatable screen unit includes a plurality of external drive paddles that rotate with the screen structure and that interact with water that has been screened by passing outwardly through the screen structure interacts with the external drive paddles to cause rotation of the rotatable screen unit.

  • Publication number: 20220014437
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing network devices include performing clustering operations for network devices based on attributes of the network devices. By comparing the results of subsequent clustering operations, changes in network device attributes can be readily identified and any network devices for which attributes have changed may be subject to further investigation or remedial action (e.g., blocking traffic to/from the network device). Clustering may also be used to conduct an inventory of network devices by identifying groups of network devices that have similar attributes.
