Abstract: Systems and methods for determining capabilities of a web browser are disclosed. A hash value is received from a web browser, where the has value provides an indication of the one or more capabilities of the web browser. A database, which stores plural hash values and which associates each hash value with a specific set of capabilities of the web browser, is accessed based on the received hash value. A server is requested to provide web content that supports the one or more determined capabilities of the web browser to the web browser.

Abstract: A brake shoe assembly for a vehicle is provided. A brake shoe has at least one slot on its outer surface. A brake plate has a backing plate that includes at least one key. The brake plate is secured to the brake shoe via the key being received within the at least one slot in the brake shoe. is secured to the outer surface of the brake shoe. This provides a connection that resisting radial movement of the brake plate relative to the outer surface of the brake shoe. A plurality of additional fasteners is also provided for securing the brake plate to the brake shoe. A frictional brake lining is molded on the brake plate and includes cut out portions exposing corners of the brake plate. At least one of the corners of the brake plate defines a hole for receiving one of the fasteners.

Abstract: This invention relates to brake components having mechanically detachable friction members. The friction member of the present invention has a plate with a plurality of apertures. This apertured plate has a first surface that abuts a mounting surface on a brake shoe member or the like. The apertured plate has a second surface, opposite of the first surface, with friction material affixed thereto. The apertured plate is detachably fastened to the mounting surface by fasteners, thereby detachably fastening the friction member thereto.
