  • Publication number: 20160054067
Abstract: A tank for a heat exchanger includes an extruded tank section having a generally constant extrusion profile extending in a longitudinal direction from a first tank end to a second tank end. A first planar end cap is joined to the extruded tank section near the first tank end, and a second planar end cap is joined to the extruded tank section near the second tank end. Together, the extruded tank section and first and second end caps can at least partially define an internal tank volume. The first and second planar end caps are both arranged at non-perpendicular angles to the longitudinal direction.

  • Publication number: 20150298642
Abstract: An active bolster for a vehicle is provided, wherein the bolster comprises an expansible hollow interior that is inflatable and is self-supporting in both an inflated and in an uninflated position. The bolster has an inflator module for inflating the expansible hollow interior. The bolster has an inner wall for projecting inwardly into the vehicle and away from the side of the vehicle on inflation of the expansible hollow interior. The bolster may have a relatively non-expansible component located between a first expansible chamber and a second expansible chamber. • Patent number: 8804093
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing movement to seating including theater seating generate complex motion responses in the seating by automatically analyzing an audio component of media being consumed for one or more aspects of the audio information contained in the audio component at certain frequencies or frequency ranges. The aspects analyzed include aspects relating to frequencies and frequency ranges substantially higher than the low-frequency signals used to drive motion of theater seating. From the analysis of the audio aspects contained in the audio component, a plurality of independent low-frequency output signals is generated. The plurality of independent low-frequency output signals is directed to a plurality of individual actuators incorporated into different locations in a seat to provide sensations of motion at different locations of the seat, such as at a seat location, at a lower back location, and at an upper back location.
