    Abstract: A document scanning system is configured to submit user selected scanning parameters to a scanner from any one of a plurality of locations. The system includes a lockout to preclude execution of subsequently submitted scanning parameters prior to completion of a previously submitted scan job. The system further provides for delayed execution of a submitted scan job until the user has provided a confirmation signal.
