    Abstract: A camera for a vision system of a vehicle includes a housing having a front housing portion and a rear housing portion and configured to be disposed at a vehicle so as to have a field of view interior or exterior of the vehicle. The camera includes a connector portion for electrically connecting circuitry of the camera to an electrical connector of the vehicle when the camera is disposed at the vehicle. The front housing portion houses a lens assembly. A MID (Molded Interconnect Device) frame includes electrically conductive traces and is integrated in the rear housing portion with circuit board connecting elements and connector connecting elements exposed at an inner surface of the rear housing portion. The connector portion includes terminals that contact respective exposed connector connecting elements of the MID frame to electrically connect the connector portion terminals to circuitry of the circuit board via the MID frame.

The rear housing includes first structure and second structure at an interior portion thereof. The rear housing includes electrically connecting elements established at and between the first structure and the second structure via molded interconnect device (MID) technology. A first printed circuit board has first circuitry that electrically connects to electrical contacts at the first structure. A second printed circuit board has second circuitry that includes an imager and that is in electrical connection with the electrical contacts at the second structure. An electrical connector at the rear housing electrically connects to circuitry of at least one of the first and second printed circuit boards. The front housing is mated with the rear housing to house the first and second printed circuit boards.

A sound processor is operable to process microphone output signals of the microphones to identify a source of at least some sounds detected by the microphones. The sound processor processes microphone output signals to identify a sound of interest outside of the vehicle, which includes at least one of (i) a siren of an emergency vehicle and (ii) a horn of another vehicle. Responsive to identification by the sound processor of the sound of interest, a plurality of speakers disposed in the cabin of the vehicle generate sound representative of the identified sound of interest. While the speakers are generating sound representative of the identified sound of interest, sounds generated by the speakers based on audio signals from other sound systems in the vehicle are diminished.

The control, via processing of captured image data, determines an angle of the detected vehicle relative to the equipped vehicle and, responsive to determination of the angle, determines a middle region of an end of the detected vehicle. Responsive to detection of the vehicle and the blinking light source, the vision system is operable to determine whether the detected blinking light source is a left turn signal indicator of the detected vehicle or a right turn signal indicator of the detected vehicle.

Image data captured by the interior viewing camera, image data captured by the exterior viewing camera and sensor data sensed by the non-vision sensor are provided to a control of the vehicle. A display system includes a video screen operable to display video images for viewing by the driver of the vehicle. The video screen also displays an augmented reality overlay. Responsive at least in part to processing of captured image data and/or sensed sensor data, the vision system determines the augmented reality overlay displayed.

The sound processor generates a processor output signal that is provided to at least some of the speakers. Responsive to the processor output signal, the at least some of the speakers generate sound representative of the voice signal of the speaking occupant to direct the sound towards other occupants in the vehicle, while one or more speakers at or near the seat occupied by the speaking occupant do not generate sound representative of the voice signal of the speaking occupant.
