Abstract: A securely configured hypertext transfer protocol (“HTTP”) server program which runs on any computer is presented. The program includes an application on the client-side of an eCommerce transaction that allows secure connectivity between applications running on the same computer and between applications running on different computers. The program additionally provides for secure connectivity between computer applications providing a variety of functionalities including generation of digital certificates, user authentication, remote application connectivity, document collaboration, software installation and remote assistance capability.
