Abstract: A cargo vehicle includes a chassis having a longitudinal rail coupled to a motorized truck. A cargo body is coupled to the chassis and includes a floor for supporting cargo. A hardpoint connector couples the longitudinal rail of the chassis to the floor of the cargo body. The hardpoint connector includes a base, a neck coupled to the base, and a head coupled to the neck opposite the base. The head is embedded in the floor of the cargo body. The hardpoint connector further includes a first leg coupled to the base and extending opposite the neck, and a second leg coupled to the base and extending opposite the neck.

Abstract: A method of forming a panel for use on a trailer is provided. The method may comprise extruding a panel member core of thermoplastic foam with a first region that includes a first density and a second region, adjacent the first region, that includes a second density less than the first density. The method can also include cutting the panel member core at a predetermined length. A sheet can be laminated to the panel member core, extending over the first and second regions.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to powertrains for a vehicle. In one embodiment, a driveline for a cargo vehicle is provided comprising a plurality of ground engaging members comprising a front left ground engaging member, a front right ground engaging member, a rear left ground engaging member and a rear right ground engaging member. The driveline also comprises a first motor and a first power source electrically coupled to the first motor. The driveline further comprises a non-driven axle coupled between the rear left ground engaging member and the rear right ground engaging member, a second motor operably coupled to the rear left ground engaging member and a third motor operably coupled to the rear right ground engaging member. Further, a second power source is electrically coupled to each of the second motor and the third motor.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods directed to a panel for use on a trailer. The panel includes a panel member core with a length that can have a first segment of thermoplastic foam extending the length and a second segment of thermoplastic foam extending the length adjacent the first segment. The first segment can have a first density and the second segment can have a second density. The first density can be greater than the second density. A sheet can extend over the first and second segments and can be laminated to the panel member core. The panel member can be formed through extrusion.
