  • Publication number: 20070231520
Abstract: A pipe includes an outer layer composed of a molding composition which comprises at least 40% by weight of a polyamide whose monomer units contain an average of at least 8 carbon atoms, and a layer composed of a polypropylene molding composition. An outer diameter of the pipe is in a range from 6 to 20 mm, a wall thickness of the pipe is in a range from 1.0 to 2.0 mm, and a thickness of the polypropylene layer is from 25 to 75% of the wall thickness. The pipe can be used as an air-brake line that can be produced at low cost, has high bursting strength, and has good low-temperature impact resistance.

  • Publication number: 20070036998
Abstract: Multilayer composites are obtained from a molding composition which contains the following components: a) 100 parts by weight of polyamide and b) from 0.005 to 10 parts by weight of a compound having at least two carbonate units by coextruding with a molding composition based on a high-melting-point polymer whose crystallite melting point Tm is at least 255° C. and/or whose glass transition temperature Tg is at least 180° C.

  • Patent number: 5474822
Abstract: A plastic pipe having improved resistance, inter alia, to methanol-containing fuels and improved mechanical properties comprising:(I) an outer layer made of a moulding compound based on polyamide,(II) an intermediate layer adjacent to the outer layer and made of a moulding compound based on a mixture of:(a) of from 95 to 99% by weight of a linear crystalline polyester, and(b) of from 1 to 5% by weight of a compound having at least two isocyanate groups, wherein the isocyanate groups originating from component (IIb) are present in the mixture of (IIa) and (IIb) in a concentration of from 0.03 to 0.

  • Patent number: 4943926
Abstract: Method for analyzing and synthesizing pulses using a first pulse state memory for storing the pulse state connected to a pulse edge detector for detecting a pulse change of state, the latter connected to the reset pin of a pulse counter driven by a clock; a first-in-first-out memory connected to the counter for receiving the counter content for each pulse, and a microprocessor connected to the first-in-first-out memory output, having a signal pulse list for storing for each pulse its state and pulse length measured in clock counts. Two or more associate memories are provided for storing clock count of any 0-state pulse and any 1-state pulse, and a pulse display connected to each associate memory to display any 0-state pulse and any 1-state pulse as a percentage of the total pulse period To.
