In the context of a method, a method is provided that includes providing first and second layers, wherein an extended portion of the first layer extends at least partially beyond a first edge of the second layer. The method further includes positioning an optical element in alignment with a translucent portion of the extended portion of the first layer. The method may also include modifying one or more portions of the extended portion of the first layer to be translucent.
