Publication number: 20240001179Abstract: A method can be used for fire-resistant sealing of an opening in a wall or ceiling, through which a line is passed. The method involves cutting a strip-shaped fire protection bandage to a length corresponding to a circumference of the line, with or without an overlap. The fire protection bandage contains fire-retardant and/or intumescent material. The method then involves placing the cut-to-length fire protection bandage around the line, to form a layer which only partially protrudes outward from the opening. The method further involves annularly applying a putty to part of the fire protection bandage protruding from the opening, to form a putty ring of a slightly larger outer diameter than the opening diameter, such that the putty ring closes the opening and extends slightly beyond the edge. The method finally involves pressing the putty ring against the fire protection bandage and the opening edge, to seal the line feedthrough.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 20, 2021Publication date: January 4, 2024Applicant: Hilti AktiengesellschaftInventors: Uwe-Michael Bohn, Michael Drexl, Julia Förster

Patent number: 10190052Abstract: A device and a method are provided for regulating and controlling individual gas pressure of individual ovens of a coke oven battery, in the case of which a rising-pipe bend projects, preferably from above, into a collecting main. The lower end thereof is associated with an immersion pipe via a water labyrinth seal. The immersion pipe is supported such that it is vertically adjustable by means of an actuator, and an immersion cup is located preferably below the immersion pipe. The rising-pipe bend has arranged therein a sleeve, the lower end of which is connected via at least one conduit to the water labyrinth seal. A water supply for feeding the water labyrinth seal and the actuator are provided at the top, outside the rising-pipe bend. Regulation of the gas pressure is accomplished by different immersion depths of the immersion pipe and the constant water level in the immersion cup.Type: GrantFiled: October 10, 2013Date of Patent: January 29, 2019Assignee: DMT GMBH & CO. Publication number: 20070226096Abstract: A method and system are provided for processing multiple related financial transactions in a computer-based financial accounting system. A user interface is provided to receive the information corresponding to the multiple related financial transactions. If desired, any of a common transaction type, date and amount can be specified. The user can select information for the related financial transactions from a list or from a set of business rules, and can then apply the information. This causes a separate transaction to be automatically generated and optionally stored for each party. Sales tax transactions can be automatically determined for each of the multiple related financial transactions. Once the multiple related financial transactions have been generated and stored, they can be displayed in a check register format that can allow editing the transactions. Some or all of the multiple related financial transactions can be assigned to a group so that subsequent operations can be expedited.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 23, 2006Publication date: September 27, 2007Inventors: Michael Rainwater, Michael Bohn, John Florio
