Abstract: An apparatus comprises a heating unit for applying heat to a cooking vessel during a slow cooking process. An inner bowl engages the heating unit and receives a mixture to be slow cooked. The mixture comprises an herb and a product into which chemicals from the herb are infused during the slow cooking process. A first lid covers the inner bowl during the slow cooking process. A filtration system comprises a second lid being configured to replace the first lid after the slow cooking process, a plunger extending out from the second top and into the inner bowl, and a plate system being configured to compress the herb to a bottom of the inner bowl.
