The aircraft monument may have doors on various sides for access to an internal storage compartment while the plinth is occupied or unoccupied. The aircraft monument may have a table configured to translate between various heights along a sliding rail to provide a meal tray surface to a wheelchair occupant or a standing desk to a standing attendant. The aircraft monument may have storage for the translating table.
