  • Patent number: 11919840
Abstract: Control methods are disclosed for continuous, unmodulated, multiple catalytic conversion step processes using at least two catalysts, a first catalyst and a second catalyst, that accommodate changes in the performance of each catalyst and the relative performances of the catalysts. In the methods, certain process parameters are used in a manner that is indicative of changes in catalyst performance, and the control methods provide for adjustment of at least one of: the absolute amount of catalytically active species and relative amounts of each of the first catalyst and second catalyst and at least one of the rate of feed or concentration of the raw material to the reaction zone.

  • Patent number: 11920628
Abstract: An equipment mounting system for mounting equipment to a support structure is described. An equipment mounting system including: (i) a mounting plate having defined therein a plate aperture of a particular shape; (ii) a bolt having a shaft portion including a threaded portion and a non-threaded portion that is of a complementary shape that complements the particular shape of the plate aperture; and (iii) a washer having defined therein a scored aperture that includes multiple radially extending scorings. In an assembled configuration of the mounting plate, the bolt and the washer, the plate aperture of the particular shape aligns with the scoring aperture such that both of the plate aperture and the scoring aperture receive the non-threaded portion of the complementary shape, and the particular shape of the mounting plate engages with the complementary shape of the bolt to prevent rotational displacement of the bolt around the mounting plate.

  • Publication number: 20240010922
Abstract: Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) synthesis catalyst systems are disclosed that provide activities for both alcohol (e.g., methanol) synthesis and in situ dehydration of the alcohol (e.g., methanol) to hydrocarbons, and particularly the LPG hydrocarbons propane and/or butane. The incorporation of a stabilizer such as platinum and/or yttrium (e.g., as yttria or yttrium oxide) can benefit these catalyst systems, particularly in terms of improving their activity and/or stability. Other advantages may be realized by the incorporation of promoters such as manganese (Mn), magnesium (Mg), and/or silicon (Si) into these catalyst systems, such as to improve selectivity to, and/or yield of, desired LPG hydrocarbons.

  • Patent number: 11277375
Abstract: Systems and methods include a computer-implemented method for validating domains and Sender Policy Framework (SPF) configurations. A relevant domain name for a domain in the set of domains is accessed through a domain comma-separated value (CSV) file. An invalid domain name not adhering to CSV format specifications is identified. Any domains without a valid domain name system (DNS) text record are determined. Domains having insufficient SPF configuration mechanisms are determined. Domains having insufficient SPF configuration qualifiers are determined. Domains having insufficient SPF configuration modifiers are determined. A determination is made whether the domain is valid and the SPF configuration is valid based on a domain name, the DNS text record, the mechanisms of the SPF configuration, the qualifiers of the SPF configuration, and the modifiers of the SPF configuration. A report of a set of SPF configurations corresponding to a set of domains is provided.
