The transaction-processing system performs transaction each related to a particular set of transaction related messages received and transmitted by the transaction-processing system. The electronic device is configured to collect transaction related messages received and transmitted by the running transaction-processing system. The electronic device is configured to determine from the collected transaction related messages sets of transaction related messages, each set being the result of a particular transaction. The electronic device is configured to assign transaction templates to one or more sets of transaction related messages, each transaction template including a specification of the transaction.
