  • Publication number: 20220073068
Abstract: A riding assistance system for a motorcycle comprising: a processing resource; a memory configured to store data usable by the processing resource; and at least one wide-angle forward-looking camera configured to be installed on the motorcycle in a manner enabling it to capture images of a scene including at least a right side and a left side in front of the motorcycle; wherein the processing resource is configured to: obtain a series of at least two images consecutively acquired by the camera; analyze a region of interest within at least a pair of consecutive images of the series to identify features having respective feature locations within the at least pair of consecutive images; determine vectors of movement of the features; and generate a warning notification upon a criterion associated with the vectors of movement being met.

  • Publication number: 20110307569
Abstract: A system and method for collaborative short messaging and discussion are described. According to one embodiment, a computer-implemented method for collaborative short messaging and discussion, comprises grouping users into client networks based on existing shared attributes. System resources are partitioned for messaging across client networks. Users in a client network are allowed to view or respond only to messages within the client network.

  • Publication number: 20050032593
Abstract: A tether system for a ball, such as a soccer ball, includes a simple swivel that is adapted to be connected directly to an extending tab on a ball. The swivel fastener is a two piece member. The two piece swivel is relatively less expensive than other more complicated swivel connectors, thus reducing the overall cost of the tether system. In addition, since the two piece swivel can be connected directly to on the ball, the tether system in accordance with the present invention also eliminates a process step of connecting the swivel to an intermediate ring, thus further reducing the cost of the tether system.
