  • Publication number: 20240251789
Abstract: Methods of attracting marine life and methods of stabilizing marine feeds or attractants in flowing water involve submerging stable marine attractant feed block products in water for at least 12 hours where a portion of the feed block dissociates from itself and another portion of the feed block remains intact after about 12 hours. Marine life is attracted to the dissociated portions of the feed block dissociated, and/or to the portion of the marine attractant feed block that remains intact. The feed block includes at least one of a marine feed or attractant, a binder composition, the binder composition comprising a hardening agent and a cross-linked edible polymer comprised of an edible acid and a gelatinized starch, and a sugar component, where the at least one of the marine feed or attractant is retained within a web defined by the binder and distributed throughout the marine attractant feed block.

  • Patent number: 11890927
Abstract: An improved twin clutch, two-speed disconnect secondary drive unit, which may be configured as a rear drive unit (RDU) for an all wheel drive vehicle is provided. The RDU is driven through an input shaft, which is connected to a vehicle drive source such as a motor, and includes a twin clutch assembly, which is connected to the drive shaft and is selectively actuated to drive left and right main shafts, which drive respective wheels of the vehicle. The RDU further includes a modular a shift assembly mountable to one or both of said main shafts to drive output shafts, wherein each shift assembly is selectively operable between the hi-range and lo-range modes to shift driving operation of the output shafts between hi-speed and lo-speed operation. The shift assembly may be controlled by improved mono-stable or bi-stable actuators.

  • Patent number: 11385871
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices supporting adjusting user interfaces based on user usage patterns are described. A page layout server may store an initial page layout for a page corresponding to a data object type, where the initial page layout may be defined by a first user and include a set of user interface components. The page layout server may transmit, to a set of user devices, a first indication of the page for display by the set of user devices according to the initial page layout. The page layout server may track user interactions with the set of user interface components, determine an updated page layout for the page based on an analysis of the tracked user interactions and the initial page layout, and transmit a second indication of the page for display by the set of user devices according to the updated page layout.

  • Patent number: 10915299
Abstract: Disclosed are examples of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for automatically matching start criteria and completion criteria of a walkthrough for an application or an online service. A database storing data objects identifying walkthroughs and walkthrough stages can be maintained. An indication can be received that walkthrough stages of a first walkthrough in the database have been added, removed, or modified. It can be determined that a first completion criterion associated with a first walkthrough stage of the first walkthrough and a first start criterion associated with a second walkthrough stage of the first walkthrough do not match. The first start criterion and the first completion criterion can be processed to generate a matched start criterion and a matched completion criterion. The first start criterion and the first completion criterion can be replaced with the matched start criterion and the matched completion criterion to generate a modified walkthrough.

  • Patent number: 10175999
Abstract: Disclosed are examples of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for converting video into a walkthrough for an application or an online service. For example, a database storing data objects identifying walkthrough stages can be maintained. Each walkthrough stage can be associated with one or more features of an application or a service. Video comprising a plurality of frames can be received. A spatial region of one or more of the frames can be matched to a graphical component of the application or the service to produce a mapping. One or more of the frames can be processed using the mapping to determine that an update to a user interface (UI) displayed on a computing device has occurred. One or more walkthrough stages stored in the database can be identified based on the mapping. The one or more identified walkthrough stages can be assigned to a walkthrough. The walkthrough can be stored as a data file in a database of a database system.

  • Patent number: 7984192
Abstract: The invention relates to systems and methods for assigning a unique network identifier to one or more programs invoked on a computer. The computer obtains a plurality of network identifiers and associates a first network identifier to a first program invoked on the computer and associates a second network identifier, different from the first network identifier, to a second program invoked on the computer. The program may be a user session hosted by the computer, an application or an application isolation environment. The computer through a network communication interface transmits the first network identifier with the network communication of the first program and transmits the second network identifier with network communication of the second program.

  • Patent number: 7756984
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a uniform network addressing scheme for a user accessing a network that is independent from the computer from which the user accesses the network. A virtual IP address is assigned to a user, a user session or a program run by user, where the IP address is different from the IP address of the computer of the user, and different from other users. A virtual host name is assigned to and associated with the virtual IP address of the user, user session or the program the user is running. As the user accesses the network from different computers, the user can be assigned the same virtual host name and in some cases the same virtual IP address. Furthermore, as the user accesses the network from multiple user sessions, the user can be assigned a virtual host name that uniquely identifies the user and the user session.

  • Publication number: 20070180453
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to deploying heterogeneous workloads in separate resource pools and provide a method, system and computer program product for on-demand application scheduling in a heterogeneous environment. In one embodiment of the invention, a method for balancing nodal allocations in a resource pool common to both transactional workloads and long running workloads can include parsing a service policy for both transactional workloads and also long running workloads. An allocation of nodes for a common resource pool for the transactional and long running workloads can be determined to balance performance requirements for the transactional workloads and long running workloads specified by the service policy. Subsequently, the determined allocation can be applied to the common resource pool.
