Abstract: Systems and methods for enabling availability of backup data during restoration of a distributed database system are provided. An external storage system stores a plurality of backup files each comprising backup data and one or more backup metadata files. A plurality of ranges are generated and stored among a plurality of computing devices based on the backup files and metadata files. A plurality of virtual data files are generated and stored in the ranges, where each range of the ranges comprises one or more of the virtual data files, where the virtual data files for a respective range identify physical data configured to be stored by the respective range comprising at least a portion of the backup data of one or more of the backup files. The ranges are configured to serve, based on the virtual data files, a request directed to reading or writing the physical data.

Abstract: A system for providing communication between a first electronic device and a second electronic device that includes a server, a first software application executable on the first electronic device in communication with the server, a second software application executable on the second electronic device in communication with the server, and a first display that includes a first machine readable code thereon. When the first machine readable code is processed by the first electronic device a first user interface is displayed on the first electronic device and a second user interface is displayed on the second electronic device. The first user interface includes a first predetermined input and selection of the first predetermined input prompts an initial indicator on the second electronic device.

The methods are particularly effective at promoting gut health. Abstract: A tracking system for determining the location of a tracking badge within a structure. The tracking system includes a plurality of beacons each configured to transmit a beacon identification signal with a beacon identifier, and a first tracking device that includes a button. The first tracking device is configured to receive one or more of the beacon identifiers. The first tracking device is configured to determine the beacon of the plurality of beacons that is closest in proximity to the first tracking device when the button is activated. The system includes a first gateway configured to receive from the first tracking device the beacon identifier of the closest proximity beacon, and a positioning engine that includes location information including a location of each of the plurality of beacons. The positioning engine is configured to identify a location of the closest proximity beacon.
