  • Patent number: 9909543
Abstract: An air intake system for a work vehicle may generally include an intake duct defining a passageway for directing air in a flow direction through the system. The duct may also include a pre-cleaner slot defined between inner and outer surfaces of the duct and a support ledge extending circumferentially around at least a portion of an inner perimeter of the duct. The system may also include a pre-cleaner configured to be installed within the intake duct by inserting the pre-cleaner through the pre-cleaner slot in a direction extending generally perpendicular to the flow direction. In addition, the air intake system may include a cover configured to be coupled to the intake duct such that the cover extends over the pre-cleaner slot when the pre-cleaner is installed within the intake duct.

  • Patent number: 9151253
Abstract: An intake duct for an air intake system of a work vehicle is disclosed. The intake duct may generally include a body defining an air passage extending between an intake end and an outlet end. The body may further define a recessed intake at the intake end including a first side section and a second side section. Each of the first side section and the second side may define at least one side opening for directing air into the air passage. In addition, the recessed intake may include a deflector projecting outwardly from the first and second side sections. The deflector may be configured to shield the air passage from water directed towards the recessed inlet.

  • Patent number: 8056617
Abstract: An HVAC system for work vehicle having an operator compartment for an operator is disclosed. The HVAC system includes a pressurizer blower and an air-conditioning system coupled to an electronic circuit. The electronic circuit is configured to reduce the output of the pressurizer blower when the operator selects a high output from the air-conditioning system. The HVAC system is also configured to provide defog operation in both a manual mode and an automatic mode of operation. The HVAC system is configured to reset the defog operation when the vehicle ignition is turned off or turned back on. The HVAC system is also configured not to reset the defog operation when the operator switches rapidly between the automatic mode and the manual mode of operation.

  • Publication number: 20040262061
Abstract: An engine hood includes an outer shell with vertical front, right and left sides and a planar top that covers an engine and its radiator. An inner panel is fixed to the inner surface of the hood underneath an opening in the top. This inner panel directs air passing through the opening in the top forward to in front of the radiator. The inner panel is fixed to the hood at its rear and side edges, and abuts the top of the radiator with it front edge. This prevents heated air flow from behind the radiator over the top of the radiator and into the radiator air inlet and the combustion air inlet.

  • Patent number: 5394948
Abstract: A hitch assembly for releasably coupling an agricultural implement to a tractor frame. The hitch assembly includes a cantilevered drawbar rearwardly extending from the tractor frame. A free end of the drawbar is suited for connection to a tongue of the implement. A force transfer assembly interconnects the free end of the drawbar to the tractor frame and includes an elongated rigid link for transferring forces imparted to the drawbar by the implement to the tractor frame thereby enhancing support for the drawbar.
