  • Publication number: 20240104399
Abstract: System and methods obtain ontology and contextual data for a plurality of domains, and generate an ontological knowledge graph using the ontology and contextual data. The ontological knowledge graph includes a plurality of nodes with links between the plurality of nodes, wherein the plurality of nodes are contained within a spherically represented data structure. The plurality of nodes with the links are displayed in a curvilinear orthography world metaphor digital view within the spherically represented data structure.

  • Patent number: 8548619
Abstract: A maintenance system for an assembly comprises a storage medium containing an as-built computer-aided design model of the assembly, a displaying means for displaying the as-built computer-aided design model, a metrology device for measuring a location of at least one characteristic of the assembly and creating as-built data regarding the location, and a replacing means for replacing a part of the assembly with a replacement part. The replacing means determines the location for the replacement part on the assembly by analyzing the as-built computer-aided design model and the data created by the metrology device.

  • Patent number: 7725206
Abstract: An integrated manufacturing and a maintenance system include a metrology device and a CAD system which has access to parametric data from the metrology device, said “as-built” data being used by the CAD system to morph a CAD model reflecting the “as-built” data, which can be used in manufacturing and aftermarket support.

  • Patent number: 6922599
Abstract: A system for producing an assembly comprising at least one component includes at least one 3D metrology system, a workstation processing element, numerical control apparatus and a flexible work cell. The metrology system maps the components for use by the workstation processing element, which electronically displays three-dimensional authority models representative of the components. The workstation processing element compares the as-built models to an electronic display of three-dimensional authority models of the components, and alters a position of at least one of the at least one actual model and the at least one authority model. The workstation processing element then commands the numerical control apparatus to perform a machine operation on the components based upon the comparison.
