  • Publication number: 20240400140
Abstract: A tailgate frame for a vehicle with a tubular cross bar and the frame pivotally attach with the vehicle. A spare tire support pivot tube is rotatably mounted on the tubular cross bar to enable the spare tire support to move between a first inboard and a second outboard position on the vehicle. A spare tire mounting bracket is coupled with the pivot tube. The spare tire mounting bracket has a shaft that extends from pivot tube and terminates at a plate that receives the spare tire. The spare tire mounting bracket, in the first position, mounts the spare tire in the vehicle and, in the second position, mounts the spare tire outside of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9028732
Abstract: A single-sided, slip resistant, self-adhesive material is produced using a blown film process which produces a film having an interior layer capable of being treated or coated to accept a pressure sensitive adhesive, a middle layer of flexible polyolefin and an exterior polyolefin elastomer layer in combination with a blowing agent to produce a single-sided slip resistant material. A number of in-line rollers are optionally provided after a pair of nip rollers, which form part of a machine direction orienter (MDO) that is used in line in the manufacturing process to heat, and then cool and condition (anneal and relieve any stresses and/or thickness inconsistencies) the film prior to the film being coated on one side with a pressure sensitive adhesive.

  • Publication number: 20100201046
Abstract: A double-sided, slip resistant material is produced using a blown film process which produces a film having an interior heat sealable layer, a core layer of flexible polyolefin and an exterior polyolefin elastomer layer in combination with a blowing agent and optionally grit to produce a double-sided slip resistant material. A number of rollers are provided after nip rollers have fused the film together, and which form part of a machine direction orienter (MDO) that is used in line in the manufacturing process to heat, and then cool and condition (anneal and relieve any stresses and/or thickness inconsistencies in the film) prior to the film being wound onto a roll for storage.

  • Patent number: 4872633
Abstract: An air ratchet holder for use in supporting an air ratchet tool includes a semicylindrical cradle portion having an end cap and a hook secured thereto. A C-shaped clasp means are secured within the interior of the semicylindrical cradle and are adapted to grasp the neck kportion of an air ratchet tool and secure it within the cradle interior. A hook is secured to the upper portion of the cradle to permit attachment to the under portion of a vehicle supported upon a hoist or the like. In an alternate embodiment, a magnetic clasp is used in place of the hook to provide for magnetic attachment of the air ratchet holder to a convenient metal member of the vehicle. An aperture in the cradle portion permits the air ratchet to be received within the holder in a reverse position.
