    Abstract: A dust collector is provided. The dust collector includes a housing, a door, and a locking assembly. The locking assembly includes a lockrod rotatably coupled to the door. The lockrod has a first end extending beyond a first side of the door and second end extending beyond a second side of the door. The locking assembly also includes a cam fixed to each end of the lockrod. The locking assembly further includes a keeper assembly to interface with each cam. The keeper assembly includes a keeper having a key and a keeper pin. A longitudinal axis of the keeper pin is offset relative to a longitudinal axis of the key. The keeper assembly further includes a keyway to accommodate the key. The keyway is fixed to the housing proximate one of the cams.

In one embodiment, the spark arrestor includes a housing having an inlet and an outlet, wherein the outlet is positioned on a dust arrestor mounting side of the housing, and a turn baffle disposed in the housing in a position that creates a tortuous flow path through the housing between the inlet and the outlet. The tortuous flow path includes a low inertia channel formed in the housing having an orientation that directs particles passing through the low inertia channel through an upper portion of the outlet of the housing, and a high inertia channel formed in the housing, wherein a downstream portion of the high inertia channel has an orientation that directs particles passing through the high inertia channel through a lower portion of the outlet of the housing.

    Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a backdraft damper having a flap valve, a dust collector having a backdraft damper and a method for preventing a pressure wave from propagating upstream of a dust collector. In one embodiment, a backdraft damper is provided that includes a body having a flap valve disposed therein. The flap valve includes a valve seat disposed in an interior volume of the body. The flap valve includes a blade movable between an open position and a closed position which prevents fluid flow between an inlet and an outlet of the body. The blade of the flap valve includes a core material sandwiched between a first plate and a second plate.

    Abstract: An indexing drive device for periodic stopping and starting of a rotating output is provided, which includes: (a) a driven cog, wherein the driven cog comprises: (i) a plurality of outer surfaces equally spaced around a periphery of the driven cog; and (ii) a plurality of driven lobes equally spaced around the driven cog; (b) a driving cog adapted to be cooperatively positioned to engage with the driven cog, wherein the driving cog comprises: (i) at least two driving lobes, whereby the driving lobes on the driving cog engage the driven lobes of the driven cog during a turning cycle of the driven cog; and (ii) a semi-circular disc that mates with one of the outer surfaces during a dwell cycle of the driven cog that holds the driven cog in a fixed position during the dwell cycle, wherein the disc has a blank section in the region of the driving lobes to allow the driven cog to turn during a turning cycle of the driven cog.
